Aw man Crisis is one of my favourite albums. Saw them headline Trees this year and it was great. Fully tempted but there's not enough else there to really pull me in yet.. I love Hatebreed but they're everywhere atm, I've seen them 4 times this year and none of those times was intentional

Think they usually do day tickets if you just wanna get a ticket for that

I reckon Friday will be the emo/Indie day so expect texas is the reason/hum there

What about any hip hop stuff? Do you think they've just abandoned that?

Hey guys pretty sure outbreak have... messed up a future announcement (maybe the Friday headliner?)

The Front Bottoms confirmed it seems

Love that, are they on the ‘Artists’ section on their site? I can’t seem to get on to it

Confirmed legit. Can find it in the source code too

Not all heroes wear capes! So, doing some research, I'm assuming they'd be this unannounced Friday band, right? (Surely they'd be headlining this.) Anybody know if day tickets are a thing? If TFB are playing, I'm there, but busy over the weekend, so ideally not wanting to fork out for a full weekend ticket for the one day (though for TFB, I probably would in the end)

Note of caution that it's plausible that the reason they're showing is that they were supposed to be there, but pulled out - and the lineup itself got updated but nobody thought to update the meta tags.

This would be incredibly annoying if so, though they also do seem a perfect fit for the Friday emo/indie headliner

The more I think about it, the more I feel like @incident could be onto something. The other bands listed were all confirmed today, and Basement seems like a suitable "replacement" if TFB had dropped out (not super familiar with Basement, so mainly looking at Spotify listeners, which I acknowledge is a faaar from perfect metric). But I'll live in hope till we know for sure!

Edit - Basement's absence from that Google preview box as a headliner is also a little strange, further strengthening the theory that they've been subbed in and somebody forgot to update the site meta.

I don't really know what to make of the names in that Google search tbh. Pup throws a bit of a spanner in the works, as they're one of the undercard bands and there are four artists on the line-up above them that don't feature in that Google search (Basement, TUI, Hatebreed and ST). So I'm not reading too much into the names written there. If anything, it is like they've plucked a name from each tier on the poster (with bonus TFB)

As for TFB, it could go either way, but I'm choosing to believe they'll be there on that Friday emo day we're speaking into existence, with Texas Is The Reason on the undercard and, naturally, MoBo headlining

    • I love this festival but Mordor has got worse and worse to the point now that I dread going there. 10 years ago there just weren’t as many people, as many bottlenecks and there wasnt the need to arrive early to have a decent spot.
    • Aren't they against touring?
    • If my memory serves me right, it was the other way round - when PS 2022 lineup was released it was already confirmed that she plays Barcelona in May.
    • Cheers! And yep looks identical to Green day's scheduling
    • Reading all the feedback with interest.  If there are now 75,000 tickets officially sold, plus who knows how many more people blagging in - then on the Friday evening and Saturday in particular, it's not ridiculous to suggest there's 50,000 people at Mordor, which is a stadium gig - except with much worse sight lines, an inferior PA, and far less bars and toilets. The Thursday evening in 2022 was of course infamous but on the Friday night for Beck I was trapped about 150m from the stage, surrounded by chatters, and with no prospect of getting nearer the stage.  With hindsight that was when I realised the fest had one way or another fundamentally changed.  Also noting on Reddit that some folk didn't enjoy the Cure or Gorillaz because the sets were "too long".  In future bands may be better received if they actually just play their top 10 Spotify songs then get back off the stage.
