It's super easy to get to the front section for any band. Even getting there 5-10 mins before will be fine. The only time I didn't get into the front section straight away was for Basement in 2024 as I wanted to watch all of Chat Pile so I got there like just after they came on and even then I just had to wait 5 mins to get in as it's one in and one out and then for Sunami as we got there like 5 mins before they came on and it was one in and one out again but I was in there before they came on. Like someone has said before, people tend to come and go from the different sections and I assuming (and hoping) that there will be a 2nd stage for the Friday.

TFB playing Talon in full?! I guess this is a one-off show and I shouldn't expect them to announce a proper tour, right? Then I guess it's time to book a flight to Manchester!

Brian Sella posted a snippet of a new song this week, so a new album this year seems likely. Probably a proper tour after that's out. Wouldn't expect more Talon dates in the UK or Europe. This one is very out the blue, the album is 13 years old this year, so not likely a full anniversary tour incoming.

Im thinking from the looks of the Lowlands lineup, speed are doing a late August festifval run and knowing reading aint gonna book them i think thyell be added to the Deftones lineup

I would have definately attended, unfortunately at Green Man that weekend. Have my fingers crossed that Amyl, Interpol, MP, SMTB & Idles will manage a trip to Wales before Viccy Park.

I'm not sure any of those bands are there as they need to sell it , especially Interpol it's sold pretty well before they got added

Yeah Interpol sticks out like a sore thumb, why on earth would they be on a Deftones bill.

I am interested to see how the band deals with a no barrier gig with how big they are now (surely BEC means no barrier)

 

Massive pull for Outbreak though alongside Deftones, was worried they would outgrow BEC but this just shows they can pull big bands to the venue.
