You seem convinced on Gaga.

I think if she's about next summer then she's the logical one for them. I'm not convinced they'll get her. It could just easily be Chappell.

Be very content with that.

But Im sure people on this forum would argue Boone isnt big enough/too poppy/its 'ROCK'  Werchter wah wah wah.

With the other 7 options there you can't really complain.

If next year's line-up features Radiohead, SOAD and Turnstile, it might be enthused to come back. One thing that disappointed me about this festival when I came in 2017, though, was the lack of options in tersm of food and drink. Has it iproved in the 8 years since, or are options still very limited? Last time, all they had was beer and red wine... in the end we resorted to mixing the two just for something different! hahaha

There’s some cocktail bars, Aperol, jaeger too but typically just beer and wine.  We just snuck vodka in tbf. I’m

Had another go (it's quite fun doing this isn't it..). BMTH and Offspring both already announced for Nova Rock so touring Europe early summer. With SOAD that'd be reminiscent of the Linkin Park/SOAD/Blink-182 day of Werchter 2017 (I think?). Should be big enough to sell out the traditionally difficult to sell Thursday.

The Cure/Paramore/Turnstile is more just because if I post it enough times then surely it has to be willed into existence right? Falling this, would love a Turnstile Barn headline slot some point over the weekend.

Mumford and Sons, Kings of Leon (rebooked) and Wolf Alice feels like a more accessible Saturday that could be good for day tickets and have broader appeal. Think Wolf Alice have their own show in Brussels still to sell, not sure if that makes them less likely. Haim and Vampire Weekend also good candidates for the slot.

Chappell Roan, Lorde and Last Dinner Party  feels like it injects a bit more youth and pop into the lineup for the Sunday, and again could be a big day ticket winner.

Leaned into some slightly more themed days, but if this year is anything to go by it might be an intentional strategy to shift day tickets. Still more than enough there to convince me of a combi ticket without going too much into a pure wishlist (Pearl Jam, Jack White, War on Drugs, The National....)

System of a Down, Bring Me The Horizon, The Offspring

The Cure, Paramore, Turnstile

Mumford and Sons, Kings of Leon, Wolf Alice

Chappell Roan, Lorde, The Last Dinner Party

Vampire Weekend is a very good shout.

Something like:

Mumford, KOL

The Cure, Lorde

Chappell Roan, VW

Oasis have said this tour is one and done. And no way is Noel going on a back-to-back, European festival tour with Liam.. we all know how that ended last time! lol

One an done can simply be a case of they do this series of dates and that's it. He more than likely means they aren't going to play in 2025, 2026 for example, disappear and then return in 5 years time.

That Sunday would be miles better overall imo than this. Olivia is better than Chappell but for a top 3 I think it's better.

I don't think they'll put Mumford on the Saturday but that's not a bad stab for say the Friday.

I think right now The Offspring would sub under SOAD but that would be ace. I'd actually forgot with The Offspring and they are more likely to be booked for Werchter than Graspop.

Ahh I forgot Lorde, sure she’ll do the RW, MC etc… route.

I do struggle with sizes abroad.  I’d prefer a Wolf Alice in the barn myself

I forgot VW to be fair until it was said. There are a lot of decent potential names next year and Rock Werchter should be the one to pick them up. Hopefully they get the Refused booking, that's the one that stood out on Mad Cool for me. There is also NIN even though I'm not bothered.

Yeah I think Wolf Alice would go down better in the barn.

VW, KOL, Lorde, The Offspring would be close to an unbeatable set of subs for me. I mean I would probably change Lorde but not at the expense of not having her. Get Refused in the barn before SOAD.

Oh they are yes, reminded me my mate has bought Brixton tickets and offered me one but due to the same as other things I couldn't commit as didn't earning. He's also bought tickets with the pissing barrier in the way that's now there...hammersmith is better as this is still clear.

Heard from an informed bird they'll be playing Lille next summer. Take it as you will.

How many farewell tours are we in for Refused now though? I'm sure you'll see another tour in around 10 years.

It's the same tour I think. They decided to extend the farewell tour after the singer suffered a heart attack last year.

Could someone give me a brief rundown of this festival?  Getting there from Liverpool?  Ticket price?  Ticket availability and sale date? Camp sites?  Just anything useful really.  Just had a look at this years line-up and thinking of giving it a go next year seeing as tho there is a massive void to fill 😭

We traveled from NI, flew to Brussels, you get a free train ticket to Leuven included I your ticket and there's shuttles there that take you on to the festival.

We stayed in Leuven so can't speak on campsites, except that A1 seemed super close to the entrance

Tickets were 260 euro for 4 days, and then you pay extra for your camping pass, and you book whichever campsite you want.

Was really well organized, toilets were clean, only issue was getting into the tents for some of the more popular acts, we were in the barn for Lola young and there was easily another 5k people outside watching it!

Couldn't recommend enough!

on the way out there I got a Eurostar ticket as I had to arrive earlier than friends, in the sale the single only cost me about £30 and honestly it was the simplest process.  The free travel ticket you get from Brussels to Leuven is a great bonus too and then the shuttle buses outside are easy to find and regular (about a 15 min trip up to the site).

Tickets are about £250 for the 4 days and easy to come by.  I guess with no Glastonbury it’s possible they’ll sell out quicker.  The lineup should start coming in October.  Typically by the times tickets go on sale I think we knew around 15-20 acts this year.

We decided to go for a hive MySpace that reserved us a pitch for 10 with a picnic table.  Think it cost us about 600 euros which included the space, hive tickets etc…  Was nice knowing we had somewhere for us without worrying about space.  Also they have microwaves, boiling water taps, plug sockets and showers.  For the showers you take a ticket and wait your turn and they were great for us.

On the hive you are supposably only allowed 24 cans and no spirits.  That really wasn’t hard to get around.  You can also bring food etc…. Saw loads with noodle pots for example.

The site is a little walk from the hive (A1 is a lot closer but doesn’t have what the hive does) and there’s stalls on the walk down which sell food/drink at slightly cheaper prices.

Getting in there are metal detectors and they do check your bag a little bit but if you want to sneak a pouch of vodka etc… in then it’s very easy putting it somewhere on you.

On the site, it’s honestly clean, easy to navigate and you can watch 1 set and get to another pretty easily.  The 1 caveat to that is when there’s a big act in the barn or Klub c.  They have a system that when it’s busy they close off the barriers to get in so for those type of acts if you want in then you have to get there earlier.

Queues are pretty nonexistent for food and drink the majority of the time, can’t remember queuing at all for more than 5 or so mins.

Honestly it’s the most organised/clean festival I’ve been too with a great lineup every year on top. Would massively recommend

Hope that helps.

I would say something like this - I don't think Billie or Oasis will come; Billie is constantly linked - but I could be wrong. Maybe they'd invite Sam Fender back as he didn't play this year; but given he cancelled on them in a headliner slot? Killers doing an anniversary show for Sam's Town would be a dream.

System of a Down / Ghost / Turnstile

The Killers performing Sam's Town 20th Anniversary / Kings of Leon / Viagra Boys

The Cure / Wolf Alice / Jack White

Chappell Roan OR Charli XCX / Lorde / The Last Dinner Party (as we know Werchter loves repeat bookings)

I'd like to see Nation of Language somewhere in there as well as The Dirty Three, Pulp, Spiritbox and Sparks. Oklou for an electronic act. The War on Drugs, CMAT and TV on the Radio too please and thank you.

For the Slope as it's the best stage Big Special, The Molotovs, Catbite, Getdown Services (they're having a similiar explosion), Model/Actriz, Imminence, Welly, Pastel and Karen Dio.
