Fair play. Does this include secret sets? I'm sure Frank and the Xcerts have done at least one each.

it doesn't actually i went based on what i could see on line ups, so i couldn't include secret sets

That's fair, off the top of my head Frank did a secret set headlining the Axiom in 2016 and The Xcerts did one in the Cave in 2017.

So it seems two bands were meant to be announced today which I'm presuming was meant to be the blurred out band. Unpeople are headlining a festival in Gloucester this weekend so presumably that's why they were removed from today but I suspect they'll be announced when the clashfinder drop.

If we are following the original comments then there is still one more band to be announced and are the "bigger" band so presumably that is the Thursday sub. The Menzos dream is still alive.

Anyone in Gloucester or fairly close should attend the event Saturday, it’s 4 venues and I believe it’s still on sale. Tickets are from £7.50 (so plenty of spare money to buy drinks and band merch) go support some smaller punk bands and independent venues alongside Unpeople, Snayx & Jools. Pretty good imo.

Unpeople have liked the post as well if we need any more evidence

Yeah I'm convinced, they just liked my comment about it with the official account

Luke and Em have also liked my comment with their personals

Was A on the poster at some point? I am not going and so no big deal, but for some reason I thought they were playing but can't see them on the current poster. It might just be getting mixed up with Slam Dunk but thought A were also at Trees.

They moved to Sunday, still on there

We'll all be at home on the Sunday night, but yeah, it's Saturday for A now.

@justanothername Thursday will be the "big" name that was still left to be announced surely.

I'm banking on it being President or Deaf Havana getting added after Slam Dunk. I'd be surprised if they've got the artwork approved this early for a band coming in a couple of months so I do think will get the unblurred band with the clashfinder. James said 3 more bands total and 2 of those this week so unpeople makes sense due to them playing Gloucester this weekend.

Who do we think are the cave headliners? Thursday no one obvious sticks out to me so maybe Thursday? But can’t imagine they’d want to clash then with Alkaline Trio. The bronx seem the obvious choice but playing axiom apparently

Friday maybe Lambrini Girls and Saturday I’ve got it in my head it will be High Vis.

I think it'll be Cancer Bats rather than Lambrini Girls. You're right that Thursday doesn't really have anybody obvious outside The Bronx so maybe that's who is left to announce.

Clashing Alkaline Trio and The Bronx wouldn't be popular though, so I don't think that'll happen.

@Chavmeisterdeluxe I agree with your logic about the sub. I didn't have Pup as subbing main personally. However, Thursday won't be 4th down and not sure they'll be subbing Superheaven on the Axiom?

Lambrini Girls won't be headlining the Cave, they're higher on the poster than the Axiom headliner (Arcane Roots).

Not sure where they're planning to put Cancer Bats this year but they've headlined The Cave I think twice now and they're a band that sorta stays at their same level it seems neither growing nor shrinking in popularity

They've began updating the stages on the artists page on the website.

Looks like Dirty Nil on Neu, presumably headlining so clashing with Superheaven. Cancer Bats and High Vis in The Cave (presumably headlining), maybe unpeople will headline it on Thursday. Did they mention anything at the show last night about playing?

I reckon it could be Delilah Bon headlining The Cave

    • Another note, if I didn't mention the food in the arena for main stage is right at the back. Bands wise they do very well for but as a festival so far they pros are outweighed quite heavily currently for me.
    • On another note for RIP as an event, there is some good things but there are so many things people going to UK festivals would hate and how far behind they are.  Consistent network and water, beer and pretzel like food is brought around to buy in the crowds. Topping up on the wristband is good. The camping and food arrangement is not good, you really need cooking kit. Water points inside the arena are bonkers, water points in camping are a faff unless you are close enough in general camp. Merch stands are crazy. You MASSIVELY need to think about your lidl shop for camping and try and do it so you've one stop. It's definitely worth it getting to a camping shop here, picking up a rolley between your mates and stacking it for the walk back....lidl is cheap though, not hard getting in but Thursday queues getting in and into the camping is mad. You have to register first for a wristband as well leaving any bigger bags behind so pull to a side if only two and do it separately. I was joining a WhatsApp group for solo camp so went with the flow but I've learnt. Had it been me or just two my tent would have been down much quicker.  Big final note, I got a fresh and black 3 man from decathlon before coming and put in bigger suitcase with my airbed and sleeping bag...do this. Take a smaller option for your clothes. If you go to Munich first, book your train to Nuremberg as far in advance as you can....very important!....it hikes crazy. Probably bettee overall for baggage sizes to do BA both ways but you do then need to go back to Munich after too. Use the B&B hotel hbf the night before....its very nice, comfortable, cheap and within 10 minutes of the station which also serves as a transport stop 15 minutes from the registration.  Get up literally like 5am with everything back the night before, shower and go. Transport is free anyway for festival ticket holders during the duration.  Would I just choose to travel in each day and back to a hotel?, on the basis of sleep and getting accommodation cheap enough for 3 nights i might just do especially if I picked the ticket up early enough. It doesn't feel like a festival in a normal sense....unless you are in general yoi have to exit on the paths outside the camping to walk down and in which also applies for getting water so have a stock up. Toilets are in the camping.
