Yeah, Glass Beams are terrific. Just top-drawer instrumental psych-funk - so woozily enjoyable.

Australians. That figures.

Hmmm. That sounds like exactly my kind of thing, so thanks for the description.

I’ll add them to the list.

Yeah can hear it now.

Bloody music industry nepotism.

He'll be clapping his hands and killing African children soon.

Yeah these are nice - very nice.

Kevin Parker from Tame Impala must adore these.

Returned to Glass Beams again. Something so wonderfully blissed out about this. Looks like the perfect weather - struggle to think it would work in the rain.

Oh aye this music completely stumbles at less than 20c.

It looks roasting in the crowd, there's not even a cloud for a break.

Wow - that Fat Dog set was blistering! In the absence of Neil Young I can only see Weezer, Pulp, Maccabees or possibly Deftones topping it!

Bit of Burning Spear and then Shed Seven for me.

Was in the tent for this, absolutely immense energy. But all 3 times I've seen them in various places there's been something off with the mix - big lack of middle sound levels unfortunately. Intrigued to listen back to the BBC coverage when I'm home

    • I'm surprised they risked it, especially after nearly missing their Glasto 22 slot under similar circumstances  I did see someome say Ellie didnt sound as strong as recently but I'm guessing playing 3 shows in 2 different continents doesnt help that    On the topic though I can definitely see them doing a Fontaines and having a break over winter before a few final Clearing shows next summer
    • That's fair on WA - I did recall people thinking Fontaines would take this year off before this was announced.    On the subject of Wolf Alice, they did Lollapalooza in Chicago on Saturday then Kendal Calling last night. Bit of an odd choice, no? Half imagine at Kendal that they would've been just exhausted.
    • Just logged onto the app to start planning my days and there really are a LOT of stages missing. Apart from the Seaside Stage there is no Casemates this year etc. Apart from the Seaside Stage, there are no Casemates this year, etc. Can't see anything about the kids field really. And there's local acts that are normally there like Kojak's Revenge that aren't appearing either.  Normally we get down fairly early but I can't see anything before 3pm I'm keen to see. Only one real clash as well, which is good, but it's thin and it's not thin in the sense of "I've seen a lot of these acts before"
    • Lifelong Carlisle United supporter here.🤦‍♂️ Good luck for the coming Season and see you in October!
