Initial crowd shot for Biffy seemed sparse but looks a bit better now.

It is filling up a little more, but a long way off the above image.

To be fair, there must still be a very healthy figure there. It's just that it doesn't feel healthy for the position and arguably the band name.

Everyone must be heading to South East corner early because the headliners aren't great.

I reckon you're right - I'd have been right up for Four Tet in a tent but agree overall it's a weak pull, might actually have create a good spread of people across the site though? Versus last year when Dua et al finished and Silver Hayes was already closed due to Charli being on at Levels

Yeah, fair point. Think their trajectory now may have been more suited to Other Stage headliner.

Does the Glastonbury ‘demographic’ (whatever that is or means?) care about them now. They loved Big Dave and his Boomer Churnup Energy last year.

Giving Biffy another go - saw them in 2017 - didn't love them, didn't hate them!

First and last time I've seen them in the flesh, I'd stick it up there with some of the best gigs I've seen. Won't admit they're exactly cutting edge on record, but some of the best live bands don't need to be.

    • Oh yeah I'd forgotten about their mad scramble to get back from LA to Glastonbury. Though at least there you can blame multiple flight cancellations. I do agree though that it's fair to ask why you'd risk a similar sh*t show.
    • So who's got a good rain dance in the locker, then? Now we're in August the weather watchers can come out of hiding.    Already having flashbacks to last year (the dust cloud of doom at the crossroads by the Courtyard entrance).   Also got to be looking sketchy for the fire/fireworks on the Sunday. Might be a controversial opinion but wouldn't mind it - the fencing annoyance isn't worth the 10 mins of 'oooohhh, aaahhhh', plus the raining of hot embers last year!
