Glass Beams played Yes Basement in Manchester only 2 years ago for a tenner. Kicked myself for not going. Saw them in a tent last year at Pukkelpop though. Such a great band.

Just catching up with Fat Dog, they're so much fun. Suddenly realised who their lead singer reminds me of - James Acaster. Deeper voice, but otherwise I think there's a definite Acaster vibe.

I am a Glass Beams fan, had it on the ipad on the desk while I was working just now, was giving it a fair to middling initial review but then I remembered I had my Sennheiser headphones and OH WOW... now getting the FOMO for the first time today

Caught the end of Inhaler after Fat Dog, perfectly enjoyable set there from the lads. Good to keep up with for TRNSMT in a few weeks. Now time for some Faye Webster.

Never been to Glastonbury, but as I've got a couple of mates who are there and as all the family have buggered off either to Europe or Hyde Park for O-Rod, this is the first time I've ever really had FOMO for it. Especially given the weather down there. 

 

Still, got one of my tyres changed this afternoon 🙄

That looks to be a healthy crowd at Burning Spear, which is where I likely would be at this juncture.

 

Correction; healthier than I expected. Had a fear it would be pretty sparse. Doesn't appear to be like Seventeen-esque levels of quietude.

I say that, they just panned the wide angle from the back of the field and I stand corrected. That is quite sparse in general terms.

But of course, crowd numbers don't matter at the end of the day for many - and this is very nicely chilled too, an excellent second serving to follow Glass Beams.

Wet Leg just started. New music is class but they were a bit crap when I saw them at Brixton. This is already looking stronger (pun not intended considering Rhian's new guns).
