Reckon price isn’t a blocker for Gaga.  Sounds like her decision to come to Europe this year was fairly last minute (i.e. after the headliners were already booked)

She has played Coachella before when she has toured and not played at Glastonbury despite the festival being on so the opportunity before was there. She was in England around the time in 15, 17 and 22.

If she is still touring in June 2027 which i don't think she will be after starting this tour now, she has to be booked by the festival if accepting. But I certainly wouldn't predict her for it.

The Coachella set was amazing, peak Gaga.  Mayhem is such a strong album, great to see it all brought to life with amazing theatrical performances and Gaga having the time of her life.

She would’ve absolutely killed a headline slot on the pyramid, not sure that huge set would’ve fit but I’m sure she’d have made it work somehow.

Her set honestly looks like the most fun I’ve never had. So, so awesome. Best pop star of the 21st Century.

Yup, beats every pure pop star option around currently easily.

*If* Glastonbury was happening next year and *if* the Mayhem Ball was extending its shelf-life then I reckon chances would be decent.

Alas..

As said, there has been the opportunity for her to play before when she was touring in a Glastonbury year more than once. If you were ever going to get two female acts to headliner for exmaple, 2022 with Billie, Macca, Gaga would have been top of the pile option's.

I'm not saying you're completely wrong but the chances of it happening with her being around have been there to be taken.

I think I put money on Gaga to headline in maybe 2011 so I've been carrying this torch a while.

Nevertheless, just cause the stars haven't aligned in previous years doesnt mean it's dead in the water just on vibes.

We've all carried the torch for her to play but based off that you put money in 14 years ago and she hasn't even played again, let alone headlined.

Good times last night. Had to miss the intro due to Prodigy but thats ok. Still a lot of fun. Crowd was obviously dead cause it was 39 at one point. Sound was shaky initially but then the got it set by act 3 iii and the Gesa section and on sounded fantastic

Why should the crowd be dead because it was hot?, its always hot over there. A bit breezy too by the looks so that will actually make it seem cooler.

Do not fool yourselves. The crowd was dead because it is Coachella. It is always dead. Always funny to see the sea of phones recording what is arguably the best broadcasted festival in the world.

The crowd is dead for a lot of acts there yes. I don't think being one of the best broadcasted festivals compares to snippets of your own memories. If people have travelled over there for maybe their only time there, then why not.

its a long ass day. And next week its dropping 20 degrees. We've had Coldchella before. It wouldve been rain and mud in 2020 if covid hadnt happened.

its ok to be the punching bag festival when you know that lots of these acts if they do both wont re produce the same thing in June. Charli aint gonna do what she did tonight in June thats for damn sure. Glasto  doesnt give artists a la carte on what they can do show wise cause they got no money to burn.

uh huh. Glasto aint giving you production or sound quality so.....

Coachella is great for sound but I've not seen a set on the Pyramid, especially a headliner where the sound was bad.

You can't watch Dua Lipa at Glastonbury last year or Coldplay especially with their light show and say Glastonbury doesn't give you production. I'm also not being charged £535 at Glastonbury for the equivalent of the basic camping. It would cost £492 for one person now to do the same as what I did previously. And £680 based on weekend 1 reaching the higher level. The fact you're can even buy a weekend 2 pass this close.

Not 20 is it.

Friday is due to be 25, Sat 28 and Sun 31 so at most its dropping 11/12 and at the least 6 degrees.

We had 37 - 39 everyday only an absolutely sunny all day everyday and still danced around to it and that was our first time there.

If you're worried you can't dance, move around and enjoy your bands then don't attend, it's that simple.

Punching bag?

I want my artists to go on stage and put in a good vocal show, performance and have a good set for the top sets and I'm generally getting that. That's what I attend for.
