Yeah I strongly remember they announced it as sold out like the week of but we were sat at camp and could still buy tickets so it wasn’t. They didn’t bother trying to say 2025 sold out. Unsure if Green Day day tickets sold out as that felt very busy.

so I'm not imagining it. Green Day didn't sell out either

The point was if they end up at their own thing next year and Glastonbury in 2027 then Download will have missed them twice again.

With the history and with how Download is trying to change, to not bag them compared to someone paying 250k for them is pretty bad.

30k turning out for a free presale to sign upto, nothing meeded to be purchased, you enter your email. It was basically a general sale 4 days earlier with a simple email sign up and every SOAD fan that wanted to go would have done it. You didn't have to pre-order an album or anything, if you did then 100% you'd have a point but it was essentially a mailing list. I get you like them and they've always been bigger than LP who you don't like.....they haven't by the way, that's very clear album sales and yours alone, but that's a very odd take. If anything, I'd have expected way more than 30k+ to be on.

If SOAD don't do Download next year which I have doubts that will also be clear. 120k tickets vs 90k plus tickets to sell for a festival day.

What are you on about. There was 30,000 people in a queue for a presale. Today, there was 19,000 in one queue I was in and 24,000 in another.

This is all before general sale goes on sale. Demand is mad.

Nah you are 100% correct you could still buy tickets the Wednesday / Thursday despite them saying it’s sold out.

I knew I remembered it.

Andre, I've said in plain black and white that there was 33k yesterday and today 24k. Which point of that are you mot getting? What I have said is that those sales could be accessed by simply signing up to a presale link for free and using the link so what's the difference? A presale that everyone would have signed up to that allowed everyone to try like they would on a general sale day, or general sale that would have been exactly the same. Just to make you aware, they are also doing a venue that is 30k less than Wembley and presales usually have way way more! MCR had over 125k in the queue for presale. You're making this what it isnt fie to you're liking of a band that I also like and making it seem like 30k people would never usually try for a free presale, they would! Over 110k usually do. General sale is irrelevant

I will be watching these two SOAD shows with intrigue, it is fair to say. First will clearly shift on Friday alone. Will be interested to see how long the second takes.

I think their pricing is going to put a lot of people off. For the price mentioned it’s an absolute no from me.

Making a prediction of a Ghost- based teaser on Halloween before the line up announcement.

Are people now assuming the pool is now:

Ghost

BMTH

Linkin park

Limp bizkit

TOP

Muse

Any others?

I think Iron Maiden (usually 2 year tours), Guns N’ Roses (rumour of Nova Rock) & Nine Inch Nails (new album) are all potential until something rules them out.

That guy seems pretty confident Maiden are out and I'm believing him.

Apparently the headliner of Good Things in Australia always goes on to headline DL, and its Tool next year. Couldn't be bothered actually checking this though.

It has indeed been that a headliner since 2022 has which is a pattern.

Therefore, I'm including Tool. We don't have dates for them but that's enough log to pick them. It's of no interest to me but that's besides the point.

GnR

NIN

Blink 182 (still won’t rule then out)

I will say this my mate has been told it isn’t Twenty One Pilots by someone in the know. Think they’re doing Reading and Leeds which makes sense and is more suited.
