as stated, it is 100% not maiden and maiden will be back in europe and possibly the UK in 2026 doing their own thing. i dont know who it is, but my mate works for maiden and has made it clear they are 100000000% not at download

How strange. Maybe with the headliners and ticket prices now it’s too expensive to book both LP and IM if true. Leaves us with the below possibly? Top two probably the most likely depending on the truth to GNR rumours.

Ghost - Guns N’ Roses - Linkin Park

Limp Bizkit - Ghost - Linkin Park

Ghost - Twenty One Pilots - Linkin Park

Ghost - Bring Me The Horizon - Linkin Park

They never announced 2025 had sold out so not even going to address that.

Basically, your long winded answer boils down to “no, I have nothing to back it up, I just feel like it’s true” so moving forward, we can all acknowledge you’re just chatting sh*t, as per usual 😂 sold out festivals are busy, guy.

Anyway…. Ghost, LP and who for 2026?

They didnt announce 24 or 25 sold out you idiot lol. The point is 25 was no different, you don't have to address it but there is NO DIFFERENCE!.

What are you actually talking about and going on about?, I've told you what backs it up. Now show me where Download 2024 sold out and you'll back yourself up?, if you can't you're arguing with yourself to back your own narrative that has no truth to it up lol. You're acknowledging nothing lad, as much as you think you are. It's quite laughable

Also, we all keep reiterating that 2024 was still mega busy but he ignores that part.

Who's ignoring anything?, didnt day it wasnt busy, I said it didnt sell out and Paul himself on here says it was capped at 75k and anything you hear over that is rubbish. So if it was capped at 75k and didn't sell out its not a lie is it?

To be fair they announced 2024 had sold out but you could still buy tickets on the day. 2025 wasn’t even close to a sell out.

2023 on Metallica days felt very busy!!

Did they actually announce 24 had sold out?, i looked fairly regular and there was never a time I could get a weekend camping or weekend not camping 3 day pass.

If thats wrong then obviously it's wrong, nothing can go against that but i was looking for the Saturday and Sunday often and so you'll see all options.

Download announced a sellout on the week of the festival in 2024 which completely passed me by as well.

Right, so sounds like I'm not the only one out the loop with constant needless chatting sh*t from Sidney then. I definitely saw them on sale right close to the festival though. Day tickets can't have mind as I was tempted right up until the day but couldn't do it for A7X having just seen Sum 41 on tour too.

In other news, SOAD put me in at 23k today, significantly lower than yesterday and it was late refreshing in too.

Indeed, I'm still 12k in the queue but I'd rather have a lesser view but be in the atmosphere than be stuck right up the top at he back anyway with them looking like ants. If I thought they were not doing Werchter I would pay it reluctantly.

Yeah im just not going to pay that much for it, I paid £235 for standing at oasis but that was different. More enthusiastic people will pay it, but I'll see them another time, hopefully

I paid £145 for Oasis and it was far away but it was in a section where the view of the stage was clear with no interruption from any speaker stands, that's why it cost what it did. Was it worth it?, for the position in all honesty no no it wasn't. Had I have paid £170 for LP in the position I had before that at Wembley I'd have gone home a happy man but they are my band, it brought back many a happy time seeing them when I was younger and it doesn't get much better than block 124, 15 rows up. I got very lucky on the date and offered someone on twickets and got the ticket for a lot less but that's a once in lifetime chance it happened. 5 minutes later and the actual sale window for the tickets was likely shut off. I can't do that for SOAD with eyes already firmly on a festival date they are likely to be at.

Just for reference - they did make the bold claim that it sold out in 2024! Here's the FB post.

DL2024.png

no that's fair play, just don't need people coming on here talking down to you and coming across arrogant making out you're talking rubbish when someone else on here was oblivious to them at least saying it. Wasn't this also a period though when people were going on there and saying it's a lie and seeing tickets still for sale?

things don't need to come across and get that nasty when it literally stemmed from a conversation with someone that had no malice.

Yeah I strongly remember they announced it as sold out like the week of but we were sat at camp and could still buy tickets so it wasn’t. They didn’t bother trying to say 2025 sold out. Unsure if Green Day day tickets sold out as that felt very busy.

Nah you are 100% correct you could still buy tickets the Wednesday / Thursday despite them saying it’s sold out.

    • Tell me more. Last Latitude we went to was '21 - my son was young & had a wagon so we snuck good beers in that way. I remember there being some Brooklyn IPA on sale which was tolerable - are you saying they don't sell anything other than Carlsberg now?! 😳
    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
