Simply too early to be confident re. Roan at this juncture.  Be interesting to see how well The Giver does - or whether Good Luck, Babe was a lightning in a bottle moment

Absolutely concur. No desire in the slightest to see her trajectory slow, and it's definitely fun to guess for the future. But gut feeling says she won't be at this level come two or three years.

Of course, success at this level now might be more than enough to preserve those upper spots on bills.

Massively controversial I'm sure...

I'd take Linkin Park as a headliner  anyday should they be available.

I think the money is the simple issue. With your big overseas acts who have no prior relationship, it's balancing the books. Partner them with Raye and Radiohead, and you can probably afford them.

Tame Impala, I assume, will headline soon

I would not assume that.

No, but it is the reason they would probably turn it down if, in some world, they were asked.

I don't think it would ever get to that stage, but still.

As you say, they'd need to be asked to be on a position to turn it down.

Aye. You can throw them into the list of "likely big enough to do it, not likely to be asked" for me. It's not that massive as lists go, but it's got a few on it. (See; Drake.)

Fontaines DC should headline 2027 without a dow't….id go as far as saying there becoming a band of a generation and it’s been far to long for a band in there up & coming prime that has headlined…

Oasis will definitely end there tour at Glastonbury if they can stomach each other to see it out….that is a dead cert billion percent ! 2027 / 2028

But I’ll go….

Fender

Swift

Let’s have Muse. They would put on a massive show.

WoTP tour had an amazing amount of material and I can imagine another album by then too.

2004 and 2010 were immense. 2016 a bit rubbish. But by 2027 it would have been 11 years between visits so could be a good shout!

Sadly Pretty sure Dowbload would take them with ££££ before glastonbury got a sniff sadly

Not really Linkin Park anyway. Its fine if you are a Scientology apologist. Thats why they get the right acts like Deftones.

Gaga, Florence, Raye ( if she hadnt been booked this year )

Whoever said Muse might have a point. Genuinely not sure where they are level-wise - albums still shift decent numbers, but their stadium shows appear to be getting progressively into smaller-style venues. (Not that this should be a barrier.)

If they came out and basically did a pure hits affair, I think they could make it work.

    • My understanding is that the queues returning back to the UK will be much worse (up to two hours) but the queue entering Lisbon isn’t so bad. That’s just from reading a few forum posts about it though so take it with a pinch of salt!

    • World Cup 2026: What is happening with ticket prices? - BBC Sport   Sounds like Infantino has been learning from his buddy if he's running around claiming its all sold out while quietly dumping tickets below face on assorted secondary websites.
    • Mac DeMarco also cancelled
    • I'm British so it very much would apply for me.   I mean, it's a moot point as I don't have tickets so will not be in town for this, but I've heard reports of lengthy queues and given I remember Lisbon Airport having a long queue at arrivals even pre-EES when I went in 2023, I seem to guess it might be quite the wait, depending on flight paths.   Certainly, the worst I've had pre-EES was a 45 minute wait for a stamp at Valencia Airport in Spain, where 4 flights to non-EU destinations in quick succession were placed one after the other. So I can't say I'm enthusiastic about what's in store. Or you know. Maybe I'm just overthinking it.
