That would be perfect, as I could watch them and Refused. I'd expect Refused moving to the kneecap slot though, kingfishr playing the Refused slot.

Kingfishr would go down well, Sziget always has a big chunk of Irish visitors. Usually the ones I get talking to are from Ireland. 😃

Pretty sure everyone I've ever spoken to at Sziget has been Irish!

Does anyone know why (not why I've spoken to them, but why so many Irish attend?)

"We’re currently still working on the schedule for the day Kneecap was originally set to perform. The updated program will follow soon."

So no new artists for Revolut on 11th?

Guitars in the main stage? What year is this?

This is a huge upgrade for me

Had an email response from Sziget overnight (don't these guys sleep?) that states they 'are still waiting to confirm the replacement for Kneecap' so it sounds like maybe they aren't just shuffling around the acts that have already been announced.

I had a wild idea that they booked an act that doesn’t fit Revolut Stage and they need to get confirmation from an other act if they’re willing to play elsewhere than originally planned.

Any idea if it‘S still allowed to walk on the island? Or is it closed off dur to the constructions?

I was in the area yesterday, there was a bunch of Inkal security guards at the entrance of the bridge, they just lifted the huge Sziget sign on K-bridge, two were sitting on chairs like they were guarding the bridge or something, and I wasn't that interested so I didn't dare to ask. 😀

With Sziget Festival history of communication and socials, anything can happen.

They have a list of the food vendors on the website. Haven't seen it in previous years.

Food is so much better at Sziget compared to 10 years ago. A lot more expensive, but choice and quality is better.

Remember when I first started going. Spag bol being left open in hot weather, with flies all over it. The Sziget  tummy bugs were real, no talk about dust in those days. 😂

You don't need to know this but, hey, we're all friends here.

I'm very careful what I eat at Sziget, because I seem to 'suffer' worse than most if anything's a bit off. I, therefore, seem to exist on a diet of beer and pizza - sounds great but gets very repetitive!

But I've read repeatedly about a decent burger stall that also has a restaurant in the city. I'd like to pay it a visit but can't think what it's called - anyone with any clue?

It’s probably Simon’s, or Smokey Monkeys as that was mentioned here before, but that’s not a typical burger place.

Can't remember who mentioned CMAT as a possible replacement for Kneecap, and she's just been announced for Pukkelpop - not sure if direct replacement or not.

I'm personally not a fan, and wonder whether she's a little too much like Chappell to have her following on straight after her.

She’s replacing Kiwanuka.

    • It was awful during Father John Misty and I was close to the front. People just shouting and laughing their f-ing heads off about nothing in particular and being louder than the bloody stage.
    • Other things I noted yesterday, away from the obvious…   Positives: - an extra water point towards the back left of the main stages has appeared, which I believe is new for this year (and was much needed) - handing out free ponchos was a good touch  - caroline were fantastic. I’d never been in the Auditori Rockdelux before, it’s a wonderful venue and a great venue if you fancy a more chilled out environment  Negatives: - the talkers. I know it’s always bad here (and most festivals nowadays) but f**k me people wouldn’t shut up yesterday. I wonder if it was partly as a result of people being at artists they had little interest in (due to rain limiting their options), although it wasn’t great during blood orange. We’ll be making an effort to get a spot nearer the front for anyone we particularly care about over the weekend  - not enough staff around (and the ones that are there are largely useless). Most other festivals have them everywhere and are happy to help
