Considering Sabrina Carpenters music isn't for a load of young girls apparently, there is a lot of them in the BST recorded footage along with parents with some too.

The crowd coming through the VIP entrance were younger than general admission, which may partly explain why Gold Circle looked young on the footage maybe, and those kids will have ensured they were near to the front of GC as well. It was a bit more mixed further back in GC and general.

As well as forking out for the Gold Circle, it was odd seeing how many parents were happy to buy the 69 merch for their primary school kids.

Sabrina was a blast last night. That damn rainstorm in the day was biblical though, led to a lot of merch sales at the already busy stores I'm sure.

She's a soon to be Glastonbury headliner no doubt.

Because its primary school kids that like Sabrina. It's very massively obvious that like with Olivia she has a very young fan base with many older adults needing to buy a ticket to take them. What example she sets to 12 year olds with on stage antics is another story.

Does anyone know what time they pull tickets from the twickets and axs resale? Trying to shift two tickets for tomorrow and having no luck, even with £50 off asking price.

Twickets I believe is either an hour before or when doors open. AXS not 100% sure I'm afraid.

Would suggest selling them individually and “accepting offers”. Someone might stick a low offer in but it’s better than nothing.

Unfortunately Jeff Lynne doesn't seem to be in the best of health at the moment. Cancelled Manchester tonight and apparently really struggled last night. Not looking great for Sunday.

Yes just read about this- really sad for his last tour.  Something about a hand injury and must be more than that surely?

wondering if BST concert could be cancelled at this stage.  Like many others we are seeing Stevie on Saturday and ELO Sunday and have hotel booked for the weekend…

I’m thinking he won’t perform and that’s such a shame

From what I've read he broke his hand in a car accident. Jeff only mentioned this as it's obviously noticeable that he isn't playing guitar.

Without wishing to speculate, he may have sustained other less obvious injuries in the incident. At his age recovery is generally a slower process. He may well be requiring painkillers that slow you down.

Obviously the main thing is that Jeff is fine. From a selfish point of view it would probably be best if the show was postponed. Nobody wants Jeff's last show to be a struggle for him. Although given it's a festival this may be complicated from a contractual/logistical point of view.

I’m sure everyone wishes him all the best - really bad luck for them as they’ll have put so much into these important last concerts.

    • Maybe hopeful but get Knocked Loose on the Sunday opposite the legend. Similar to the slot Turnstile had in 2022. Would be absolutely phenomenal.
    • One of my personal favourite bands at the minute - MUNA. Was very surprised not to see them booked in 2023 with their last album but hopefully they'll be around next year. Very fun new album from these guys and, as aforementioned, another standout for me at Big Weekend.
    • Absolutely second this. Were great at Big Weekend and already have a great catalogue of songs forming so far. Would love to see them on the farm!
    • A mixed first day for us. First of all, we were honestly quite shocked that there was no security check at all at the VIP entrance around 7:30 PM. No bag check, nothing. I’ve attended Primavera many times over the years and this felt surprisingly lax for an event of this size. Did anyone else experience the same?   Another disappointment was the communication regarding the weather situation. Primavera has some of the best sound systems and speaker setups in the festival world, yet somehow they were not able to make a single clear announcement explaining what was happening. Instead, people were expected to read tiny messages on screens in Mordor while thousands were left wondering what was going on. A simple and direct audio announcement would have gone a long way.   On a lighter note, this guy absolutely made my day. Sitting right in front of the Estrella Damm terrace, wearing nothing but a long-sleeve shirt, jeans and a pair of Converse All Stars, he remained completely unbothered by the rain. While everyone else was looking for shelter, he sat there wearing sunglasses, calmly watching the crowd as if he was watching a movie.   Absolute main character energy!
    • I think my party got pretty lucky last night, at least compared to some of the horror stories over on Reddit. I was very impressed with Father John Misty in particular.   Perhaps my view would be different if I were a big Massive Attack fan or whatever, but right now my feeling is that if it's not safe for the shows to go ahead... then it's not safe for the shows to go ahead. I'd much rather they were cautious than roll the dice when it comes to something like that.    Here's hoping everyone has a better day today.
