Going next Sunday and got standing tickets.

What’s the set up for front standing wrist bands again please? Times etc.

Need to work out if it’s feasible and worth it.

I was sitting but I believe it’s go and get your hand stamped when you get to the venue and then you’ll be let into the front standing queue when you get there and should get a wristband etc.

i think when I went, anyone who was there a couple of hours or so before doors got into front standing.

Be there around 14:30 and you should still get a wristband for the front of stage area. They usually hand them out around 15:00.

For the previous gigs was there a specific entrance/gate you had to go to?

I think likely to be too early for me but will see......

P.s. thanks for info and to Dronx for asking as came on to ask the v.same.

Not sure what the exact entrance was. But you should be fine with just walking up the stairs and then you follow the signs.

Maiden at Knebworth means it's an active venue next year, but genuinely no idea if that helps or hinders prospects of more shows for other artists.

Has there been more than one event in a Calendar year at Knebworth? I’m surprised Maiden are doing it with the Oasis rumours which would have to be multiple nights. Could be the park is setup for the Maiden weekend and either the weekend before or after Oasis play using the same concert infrastructure. Can’t see locals being happy with multiple weekends of disruptions

I want to be be proven wrong, but given historically only one artists has ever played Knebworth of that summer, does this mean Maiden will be the only one's playing there?

Could it be a case where Oasis have initially booked out Knebworth for that weekend, for one reason or another it's fallen through, so Maiden have filled the spot instead?

I'm hearing a lot of noise from various fan group's about 10 nights at Wembley, so maybe they are going down the Stadium route instead?

I am sure with the last UK dates this weekend and the 30th anniversary WTSMG re-issued next Friday an announcement will surely be in the next couple of weeks.

The Knebworth gig history is so spotty that I'm not convinced we can read anything into that. It seems to get pressed into service as needed, or in the case of Liam a couple years back (and potentially Oasis next year) purely based on nostalgia.

Aside from which, if Knebworth actually is off the table - isn't literally every other possible venue (yes even the abomination that is MK Bowl) an upgrade?

Wanda Metropolitano is the stadium of Atletico, not Real Madrid. A few weeks ago their president confirmed that Oasis will play gigs there in 2026. But he couldn't name a date.

If they was doing City's ground it would have to be early July ish, and I would say Knebworth would be after the school holidays start so mid to late July at the earliest. But I can see them doing some UK dates round trip around Europe then return to Knebworth mid Aug, so they get to play the football grounds during the summer break.

It won't be available that late in the summer. If Oasis are playing there, then it'll have to be scheduled before the Take That shows.

There's about a one month window for concerts - shortly after whenever the last (potential) home game is, through to late June and after that, City will be redoing the pitch ahead of the new season. Don't think they've ever hosted a concert in July.

There is more than one venue available in Manchester 😉 😄

Where did you get this from? I've heard the same a few weeks ago. I was quite surprised that they think about doing Wembley and Knebworth at the same time but the demand is still huge.

Don't get me wrong, I'll be in for Oasis tickets wherever they play but it does seem a little odd they would go back to Wembley if the opportunity to do Knebworth was there. Head vs. Heart maybe. 10 nights at Wembley would see more people through the gates than 4 at Knebworth and a large range of hospitality options to boot if money spinning was the number one driver. Which it probably is.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
