It has been done in the past, Coldplay did both in 2016 as did Foo Fighters in 2015. So wouldn't rule it out especially with the amount of airtime she gets and the special of her going back to her Primary school a couple of weeks ago. I would love Catfish to be on there, but my head is telling me they may just hold out until their Cardiff show for their comeback.

nathanh
Yeah despite billing the Friday as multigenre this year, still feels VERY dance even when you look at your Becky Hill and Ella Henderson, both have been doing A LOT of dance music
loikju
Glad to see the "new music" stage living up to it's name with 2 headliners who released their debut albums... checks notes... 2 decades ago!?

sacred shape
Mad seeing Charlieeee there on Introducing. I'm friends/acquaintances with them and they've just massively shot up in popularity
MatthewTurner
I wonder if they were struggling to pull in acts for the Friday, the line-up looks way off the mark in terms of what was due to be a multi-genre day. Considering the day is now 35,000 cap, with an additional stage from last year, I can see it being a very slow ticket mover. For £34 a ticket though you can’t complain too much I suppose. I think that'll help given that's still cheaper than most of these acts' own shows. Even if it'll be shorter sets if prior R1BW events are anything to go by. Theres no way it will struggle at that price. luton is very easy to get to from london - only about 30 min from St Pancras
