Lytham Festival 2024

That's another year in the rearviewmirror then, and five-day passes are available on a limited basis for next year already.

Seems to have been a bit of trumpeting that Sting and the Motley Crue/Def Leppard show were among their biggest ever, which bodes well for potential acts next year at least.

If they are still on the reunion trail (which seems unlikely), I'll throw Pulp in as an option to start the ball rolling.

Only been once for The Strokes and it’s a decent venue. Imagine you’ll see something like Noel, The Who, Pet Shop Boys, Take That.

Florence could be an outside bet for a northern date.

Off to see The Who in Hull this week, and had just been thinking it was bang on the kind of festival date they might play. Bookers tend to also handle Scarborough Open Air Theatre and Piece Hall in Halifax too - kind of a Northern Powerhouse trilogy.

Muse, Chems and PSB are definitely possible. Yeah, maybe Macca and Pink are a stretch but you never know 🙂

When looking at Green Day dates on Ticketmaster, Lytham Fest comes up to purchase tickets?

That will be because of the search terms. Green will correspond for Lytham Green, the venue itself - and Day presumably for a five-day pass to the whole shebang.

Neil Young did play a billionaire's party the other week, mind you, so he might have some change to build a road to Blighty.

He actually would fit the bill in line with a Motley Crue/Def Leppard-esque booking though, particularly if he was to do BST too.
