What's the camping situation like, is it a free for all like most festivals (i've been to)?

How quiet is the "quiet" camping, sounds like it's generally quite a chilled festival so maybe everywhere is already quietish?!

Any issues with certain spots getting boggy if it tips down?

Oh, and are gazebo's allowed to stick between two tents for a bit of living space?

Ta 🙂

Very easy to find a space, we always get a similar space every year, 30 yards up from the hill of death. ( a tiny 20ft  incline tbf😂)

We always have a gazebo between two tents, pretty sure noone has ever been offended by it. There's a couple of bigger groups with big gazebos every year too.

Camping really only "not quiet" if you choose to pitch up in the top left corner (as you enter the campsite from entry gate, up that so called him off "death" /slight puff) which puts you within ear-shot of The Tipi - this year renamed The Folly - as it has live music until after 2am

First year not camping because of ill health.  Staying elsewhere is it easy to get in and out from the site on a daily basis

I would say yes. In our early years we used to drive out to top up with supplies at the supermarkets. No queues on the way back in and fairly easy to find a parking space. Since we've been able to borrow a campervan (the last 5 years), we've stayed put though, so maybe there's someone with a more recent view. The site population hasn't changed in that time though.

We’ve stayed in an air bnb the last two years, easy to get out and easy enough to get back in. You’ll end parking a long way away. One thing we learned is to have summat noticeable poking up off the car making it easier to find.

our now adult nippers still camp. Last year we were taking one back to Bristol and made the poor bugger meet us at 7 am. Security wouldn’t let us in. And they were pretty unpleasant and aggressive about it too.

Is there an app for this folks? Or do we rely on Clashfinder?

this person made a great app for Glastonbury, but the festival/Vodafone out some kind of ban on it because they had Vodafone’s abysmal app. Anyway, looks like it’s good for other festivals and had the ability to download your Clashfinder.

https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/festpilot/id1134021834

edit: actually I don’t think it’s the same app, but still looks ok

    • TOP 10 acts (top 5 in bold😞   Blood Orange (ciutat)   Guitarricadelafuente   Oklou - Looks like I'm capable of enjoying music in the rain after all, just not the whole night.   Rilo Kiley   The Cure   Jade   Depresión Sonora   Gelli Haha (Parc del Forum) - Her music never really clicked with me. Until I saw her live.   MARINA   Six Sex (ciutat) - I was shocked how supersmall the venue was and that almost everyone (except for me) knew every word of every song (including the ones that were released this weekend!).   Honorable mention:   Ashnikko - missed the first 15 minutes (because of Gelli Haha) and I'm not really a fan of her music, but the show was an absolute blast.
    • Totally agree about PinkPantheress stage choice. 'Luckily' for me, one of my main targets, fakemink, was absolutely awful, meaning that I left early and was in a surprisingly good spot at Cupra before it got totally packed.
    • As many said before, not my favourite Primavera. sh*tty weather is something I'm not really used to when enjoying music. Poor communication (more than 1 hour long radio silence during the worst rain) didn't help, but the main problem was me. I decided to leave the venue after things seemed to be getting back to normal. Massive Attack were supposed to play again (with Hymn of the Big Wheel back on the setlist!) as were all other artists on the smaller stages (including Fcukers with one my favourite albums of the year). FOMO was at an all-time high. However, after 4 hours in the rain, I had to admit to myself that I'm not cut out for this. I wasn't even that soaked (water-proof jacket worked). I was just fed up with the rain, wind and cold and wasn't able to enjoy music anymore.   Also, they should stop ignoring the growth of some artists between signing them up and their actual performance. Both PinkPantheress and Ninajirachi sets were ruined for me by completely inadequate stage choice.   However, I felt very much the same way after the 2022 edition and have thoroughly enjoyed all subsequent editions. So I'm still buying early bird tickets for 2027 and hoping this was a hiccup not the start of a downward trend.
    • I will definitely be buying a 2027 early bird pass, partially because of the priority reservation privileges for the Ciutat sets. Hopefully the organization will take action to improve upon this year's failings. Because I thought the free water options and sound quality were an improvement over last year, so clearly they can actually implement positive changes.   I also hope all the douchebag chompers get in the sea, cause I was more bothered by them than in the past few years.   Highlights: The Cure, Ninajirachi, Knocked Loose, Current 93, Blood Orange.
