That's a hell of a pop lineup, honestly. Probably not for us but it'll do well.

Oh yeah definitely. To be fair, I don’t mind Robbie, grew up listening to him as my Mam loved him. Just not the sort of act I want headlining my festivals haha

Last headliner rumored to be a guitar one..... GnR?????

I had them down as potential headliners after they were meant to play in 2020. Sure they had to cancel a show or two in Europe this year so thought they might be back around next year

If tickets go on sale at the end of next week, it would be a better move to announce the last headliner next weekend and not tomorrow - if they can.

As ticketholders from 2020 and 2021 will have a presale, tickets will probably go on sale Monday or even Saturday this week.

last headliner next week?

Probably. I think they share a big name with Mad Cool and NOS Alive. They will announce on tuesday.. Ticketsales for PinkPop starting next week and they said all headliners will be out before that.

RHCP cancel their show in Israël in June 2023. So no RHCP in Europe during summer 2023 (calendar scheduled)?

In 2020 and 2021 they should have played in Israël and Europe for festivals.

Cancelled a concert doesn't mean all European dates. They may have a better offer elsewhere.

Another theory as it's Israel could be a band member doesn't support the government policy of Israel and it's a polite way of pulling out.

It can be quite the opposite - the 2023 tour is planned, but they couldn't make it to Israel due to scheduling conflicts.

Yeah it‘s in fact the opposite. Scheduling is done, the tour leg is finalized. That‘s why they come up with an announcement about Isreal now.

I‘d be surprised if we don‘t see them on the posters for Mad Cool and NOS on Tuesday and maybe Pinkpop.

Do you have inside informations they'll announce something next week?

I was thinking they'll don't tour in Europe next summer because I think they'll do only a few festivals shows (apart from Glasgow) In 2020 and 2021 they should have played some festival and the show in Israël was incorporated in between some other.

So I don't understand why they can't integrated the gig in Israël this time.

Could be a variety of reasons. Maybe Hayarkon Park isn‘t available all the time. Maybe Israel is too far off their main leg and travel costs with rising energy prices do not justify the extra mile. Maybe bad sales in 2019, maybe political instability, maybe a band member doesn’t want to play Israel anymore, …

We can never know with Israël indeed... and it was the only show announced so far. I can't imagine them not going back in Europe to play Summer festivals! They released 2 albums in 2022 and did only a small tour of 15 shows including 1-2 festivals like Rock Werchter. They should play at Pinkpop, maybe Rock Am Ring or Hurricane, Rockslide and many more.

Some insider said the last headliner is a guitar one. I think they have GnR. And if not probably RCHP or Greenday. FF is also mentioned but i find that hard to believe.

Both GNR and RHCP would make sense. If GNR are touring next Summer, they could come back at Pinkpop as the 2021 edition was cancelled and they haven't been confirmed for 2022. And like said before, RHCP need to tour to promote the new albums and have played a couple of times at Pinkpop. Hard to believe Foo Fighters will already come back with a new drummer in like 7 months from now.

    • It was great, but I don't know why they continue to play Wide Lovely Eyes and Rings of Saturn, which are the weakest of the tracks off both PTSA and ST. Well, I do. It's cos they're about Suzie, so he can sing what he wants. They're the low points of the set. The rest is ace.
    • I didn't this time, but I've seen them before and just because you saw both that night doesn’t mean you can compare them. The Stones were great, but.you didn't think so and you went somewhere else looking for a good time and you found it. For whatever reason you didn't like it, but you were an outlier and all the reviews said they were great.
    • Annie Lennox could be the one to unite the whole forum, nobody has a bad word to say about her, even noted curmudgeon Skip 😄 I'd probably even amble along for a bit meself, and i'm also a miserable sod
    • If the below link works - thats interesting.   While I don't particularly put much stock in that account as a source (never seen it before though, tbf), and I can pick a hole or two (see below) in what he says - the timing of it is a week before I had the Fontaines '27 stadium info (same stadium he says on there, Tottenham). The info, or part of it, matches up.   Holes I'd pick: I'd have to watch again but I THINK he says 'end of year' for Tottenham - not possible, for a number of reasons, though he's probably just got his words mixed up there. It's Summer '27, or that's what I've been told. He also says Glastonbury is/would be based on how the album does. That doesn't stack up to me, unless it was a 2028 thing. I suppose that could stack up, i.e a verbal agreement for 2028, but still seems a bit of an odd approach. I would personally still expect it to be 2027 alongside the stadium gigs, IF they are gonna do it, though I've still not got a Scooby when the album is gonna drop, only that the tour is due for Spring (or early) next year.   Interesting, nonetheless.   https://www.instagram.com/reel/DaOB3Q9qkwW/
    • I was hoping that they would just do a tour like they were set to in 2020, rather than having Download as their UK appearance. If they are at DL, I would be surprised to see them headline. I think they sub under Deftones or SOAD
