For those of us who got a presale promise when pre-ordering midnights, how does this whole registering with ticketmaster thing work? Still have to register with ticketmaster despite the preorder?

SwiftSociety posted this… 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m surprised that everyone is counting her out so quickly. Beyoncé had people paying +£1000 because it was cheaper to fly to the UK and see her here for the 3rd time then buy tickets again in the US, and there’s gaps in the Eras tour that are half the then between London & Glasto (like Cincinnati & Kansas, or East Rutherford and Chicago) and with the same amount of time between a Sunday show and her next scheduled in Dublin to give her a rest.

I’ll probably still buy a ticket for a London show as an avid fan, but I wouldn’t count her out yet as a Sunday headliner when her previous shows have accumulated the highest grossing tour for any female artist (https://www.capitalfm.com/news/taylor-swift-eras-tour-earnings/) - at the end of the day, this will always be a money-making endeavour to ensure future festivals  for the Eavis’ and they’ll likely want to capitalise on that

Registered for London and also have midnights pre sale link. Expecting to have as much luck as not getting Glastonbury tickets this year. Also don’t expect to pay same as reputation tour which was £105 for good floor tickets at Wembley 🙄

I'd be very surprised if couldn't get a ticket for Edinburgh. Id imagine another date at least would be added if sold out fast.

I happened to be in Nashville on the Friday she was playing. Last minute tickets were $250 for the cheap seats, and went up to several thousand.

That was still cheaper than the week before, where there was nothing under $600.

I've just seen Anfield season ticket holders get their own presale so I'll probably have a go at picking some up then make a decision on going later on

Members too. Didn’t renew this year because I was sick of paying the annual sub to never get anywhere in the ticket sales, only for this to pop up. Fewmin’.

Hahah! The one perk of the membership and it's not even LFC related!

My dad is in the same boat, still paying the membership but only coming to games when I can pick up a random spare off the bloke next to me or a pal who can't go. Not a sniff in a sale all year.

Tickets for Beyonce, Hazza and the Boss at Murrayfield were all easy to get in the run up. I'm fairly confident.

good for you if the maths checks out

    • Muse new album out soon , European tour announcement for Nov and Dec, no Spanish date and north American tour starts in July and in North America for all of July and August. So primavera and Glastonbury
    • Well he is on a rape charge, don't see that one as controversial.    Although Hakimi is in Morocco squad.
    • Electric Callboy just said they'll be touring here next year. I'm not sure there's a poster for it though. I'll look when I'm near some next.      He said we'll see you at Download at a gig before any of the band. Presumably he was trolling. They're in Austria at the moment and Germany tomorrow with a week's break and more shows in Germany. Whilst not impossible to come back here and then go over there again, it seems unlikely.
    • Thomas Partey, knocked back by Canadian immigration now.
    • I'm sure someone can update you on the clashfinder, and it will be pretty accurate by the time the festival comes around. It's a large flat-ish arena with main stage in the open air, no best side I'd say. Leadmill (3rd stage medium tent) is at the back of the main arena, T'Other (2nd stage big tent) 5 min walk round the corner. At full capacity walking around can take a bit more time though. I noticed that The Enemy are scheduled to not fully overlap with Wolf Alice, so you could catch part of their set too.   You can walk around anywhere with a beer, with most bars the usual mass market stuff, but one nice craft ale tent, back of the arena near the Leadmill stage. A main meal will set you back £10-15, but cheaper snacks also available. Expect a pint to be £7-8. Possibly a bit more this year as prices everywhere are increasing.   It's fairly easy to get to from the town centre using the tram, although can be busy at peak times / very busy at curfew. If you like a walk, it's approx 40 mins to Kelham Island (lots of indy venues) and probably an hour to the city, or catch an Uber. There will be loads of 'fringe' music events on around the city right through the weekend. Most are free. Have a wonderful trip, enjoy the festival, and your stay in our city!
