Also I really do think @scatteredscreens you should stop sending people separate DMs and just take a break if this is bothering you. I'm not going to engage at all with those messages. I apologise for poking fun at your comments and I'm happy to leave it there.

That's fine. I just don't like people who don't know anything about you making personal claims about them. It's too far. I accept your apology and I'm sorry if my posts upset you too.

Then don’t engage in discussions you aren’t interested in then!

As I said before, I'm interested in the discourse around TS, I just think continuous discussion about streaming numbers are silly. Not saying I'm right or have some godly opinion on it. Does that clear it up? Like I've said in other posts, I'm not trying to upset anyone and apologise if I have.

Tale as old as time. People who really like an artist aren’t content just to like them but have to explicitly justify why they’re the “best”. So they use sales/streaming figures as if to seal the deal on their point of view. You see it all the time here in arguments about stage positioning.

She said going to be in London tomorrow for the Graham Norton taping so the Bon Iver rumour might not be too crazy. I don’t think it will happen but have my fingers crossed for everyone attending who is an exile/evermore Stan.

The twitter account that tracks celeb jets has her in London as of two days ago

She randomly rocked up at that HAIM gig as well didn't she, so it's not out of the ballpark of possibility.

Would she do it twice in the same city? Different venue but, I mean JV does backing vocals on one of her new songs (Dear Reader) I think so it’s possible I guess

JV is gonna do her a solid and return the favour during her headline set.

He's not got a great track record with that.

popped up for Kanye's set and in 2015 and James Blake's set in 2016, both times not gracing us with a bloody Bon Iver set

That's what I meant - it didn't do the gig any favours.

Nothing was going to do that gig favours tbh.

Plus, Exile is near the top of Swift fans' wishlist for the upcoming tour. It'd get the biggest reaction of the set I reckon.

People at home being like 'how sweet, Taylor's brought her Dad on stage for a song!'

Regarding sales figures, they've been a heated topic of conversation since I was a nipper (I'm in my 50s). It obviously was during the time of Elvis, the Beatles, Dylan, etc.

It's quite interesting looking through this list and finding the ones that you remember being a big deal in your youth...

    • Ann and Nancy Wilson are planning a final world tour for HEART starting next year. They were never at Glastonbury. They should do it.
    • sub yes I could see but I don't think they get 1hr 15, a headliner starting at 18:15 though is unlikely. Even the recent co-headlines that have had like 1hr 15 then a 1hr 30 after were on 8pm or just before, you are trailing behind more than 1.5 hours then. In that scenario some 3rd down bands are only starting at 18:15 and some haven't lol. I agree they won't not book them due to this but it won't be 6 headliners. It would be 5 headliners and you wouldn't want to see 5 headliners booked but Biffy were to not be thouhgt of as an option for one. Wolf Alice on the other hand could sub no bother and you'd think nothing of it. I'm not so sure Biffy would get headline though after the festival choice in Kendal this year.
    • Definitely. UKIP also used Merkel welcoming 1 million Afgans to Europe in 2015 during the brexit vote.   Politicians in other countries within the EU know the are going to lose voters to parties to the right of them over stuff like this and they've no control over it.
    • I think it will very much vary on who there is to book who they know will sell out a day.    They’ve co-headline and full headline stuff in future, there no reason at all they won’t do it again, even if it means cutting someone’s set by 15 mins or having a band less in a big bands day…   They’re not going to not book Foo fighters and instead get the equivalent of Florence and C&S just to not have a band do a big set…   …unless of course they think it will make them more money…
