Have Deftones ever been ON the cards? I know they've been mentioned on here a lot, and I know the organisers mentioned have mentioned them before, but I've never bought they'd rock up to this.

Never really on the cards, although I think they're just about the biggest act trees could realistically book.

Hope not, I'm a big fan and they were dire on their UK tour last year. Super short set and it seemed like they were just going through the motions. And they didn't play anything off their newest album even though it was the Nowhere Generation tour

Part of me thinks Soft Play (slaves) are gonna be involved in some way, maybe subbing to Frank Carter? Idk 

Final headliner could be anyone. AFI, Deftones, Rise Against, Reel Big Fish... id imagine its a band playing other EU fests that haven't yet announced a UK fest.

I reckon it's gonna be AFI. Would be quite a good get as they don't play the UK very often anymore. Their last headline tour was 2010.

I got an email about them skanking around to their songs in the office, or something along those lines. 
I did wonder if it was a punk/ska band.

Dunno if big enough at all or right crowd but king blues are doing a reunion apparently...

Looks like they've played before so could be considered "trees favourites" plus would fit the skanking hint...

They aren't headline size, neither are Reel Big Fish really

Slaves haven't really taken off since the change to Soft Play so can't see it being them, Hundred Reasons are already subbing Frank Carter
