thats not how the last 40 years have gone.

but one day it'll come to an end cos everything does eventually. it won't be anytime soon cos any  govt that ends it will be creating a bigger problem than any problem it might feel its solving.

I'd just be interested to see how many of the people who selected one of the two 'more difficult options' in this survey might reconsider their stance if they were faced with the reality of what people were fleeing from. I don't mean that some sort of gov pension won't exist, just that it won't be universal like it essentially is now

100 quid a month from aged 20-70 at 9 % return is 978k, in a sipp you get tax relief so would comfortably take it over a million even with fees
