she has with the cap freeze, and Kwarteng due to do his mini budget thing on Friday.

We need her to do a lot more plus Parliament needs to scrutinise her plans.

Suggestions that US trade deal thing means don't have to keep that as a threat/promise related to NI protocol...so not sure what that means for NI protocol talks, there would also be a threat of a trade war with EU.

you mean that we should hreaten to punch ourselves in the face. 😛

yeah...well...all that can still go on...she has multiple parts of her job, and one of them is meeting other world leaders, especially with the war and all the fallout from it. Friday is a big day, it's hardly a mini budget as stuff being announced pretty huge.

Probably for the best, once thats signed there is no going back. Still feel like Starmer may go for a May style in the single market/outside the EU deal whilst still being able to claim we've left.

That’s not enough, she should show leadership, cancel the trip, call a press conference to restart her col plans and have Parliament back today. But she won’t as she doesn’t care about us.

Pretty sure Switzerland voted on it. It would of been interesting to see if the referendum won. We are going to have to chose a block at some point, would labour sign a deal that guarantees every British farm goes under because they can't compete with U.S factory farming methods?

If she really needed to meet Biden surely there was an opportunity recently when he was over here.

It’s all just theatre.

it wasn't Switzerland's joining stance, the EU is not going to admit the UK for the UK to fuck over the EU.

Of course it will be Labours issue. Have to make sure they’re still the party of tax rises although the tax rises are there to pay for Tory spending.

The media will lap it up too. Imagine if these uncosted plans had been under a Labour government, the media would be spitting feathers.

Back on the whole rejoining conversation. This article seems to have slipped by unnoticed. Obviously no plans to rejoin the “EU” but there is talk about joining a separate European based organisation. 😂🤦‍♂️

Liz Truss was against the idea when she was foreign secretary so I doubt she will get involved

Yeah, Macron has been pushing this for a while...and I actually could see us being part of this one day, not with current govt, but maybe a future one. I mean, we are still actually in europe whether we like it or not, and EU is still our largest trading partner, as well as all our other links.

Blimey. Sounds terribly little Englander. Of course she should be going to important UN meetings.

Can you imagine, british PM snubs World leaders.

    • Used had one of the biggest crowds in the Wave last year. Not really my thing but enjoyed it and the crowd were bang up for it. Might be too much of a step up on the Main though.
    • Thing is it depends on what the issues are - building a bigger stage would likely bring the Pyramid up to the relatively standard 20x20 space for "on stage" production which does make it easier for touring setups. But if for example she wants big / complex extensions going out in the field (such as she had in Rio) that would remain just as awkward to achieve without massively disrupting the rest of the day or potentially even weekend.
    • A month or so before any ballot a group of up to six is registered and a lead booker named.  That gives see tickets time to check if any individual’s registration, post code  and details appears more than once on different groups and removed then on ticket allocation day tickets the groups are just randomly balloted.  It’s felt like a ballot in the last few years, just sitting staring at the dreaded two lines, glancing nervously at the clock as time passes. Maybe the f5 refresh gave you the sense that you were actually doing something 😊
    • or can we just have Metallica back please 😄
    • Feel Stevie Wonder should be in the conversation as a random Michael Eavis headliner ala Neil Young last year.... If we did get a M.E pick for one of the headliner slots, who else would be in the mix do we think? Cher? Rolling Stones? Nicks/Fleetwood?
