Given the Republican governor of Ohio has told him and Vance to shut up with the pet-eating claims, I don't think it's exactly helped that much.

Kamala has accepted an invitation for a second debate and is calling out Trump to participate. I think he knows that it’s only gonna go bad for him so is trying to avoid doing it, but he’s also easy to goad so hopefully he caves under the pressure of being called a coward.

It’s truly insane just how much Trump and the Republicans are more or less announcing both that they’re gonna cheat and how they’re gonna cheat and nothing is being done about it - just gotta watch it play out and then deal with it from there. Maybe these elections have always been this way, but it’s nuts watching it literally play out play by play with him and others basically yelling about it all on Twitter .

Apparently Trump told an interview he won't run in 2028 if beaten this time.

 

Though given he'd be 82 then, maybe that's as much an acknowledgment of time being too big a barrier in the end.

Tbf during the 2020 election he said if he lost we’d never hear from him again and yet here we are.

 

But yeah, even he must realise age is becoming a huge factor now, and also that if he loses this time then he’s not gonna fair any better in four years time. He kinda seems to have run out of steam already with this election cycle and I’d wager he’s pretty much expecting to lose at this point and is just gonna put all his effort in to cheating instead.
