Pukkelpop 2021

One stupid question: if Pukkelpop is booking big and expensive acts as Limp Bizkit, what are they waiting to announce the line-up and selling tickets?

Only 10 weeks until Pukkelpop dates and they have to sell 40 o 50k tickets...

Probably waiting for the Belgian government to decide on the actual ruleframe in regards to mass events. A decision which has again been postponed by another week btw (18 June now)...

You'd imagine so. Be a hard sell otherwise

I'm surprised to didn't announce any names with the confirmation of the festival and tickets sale. They'll have 2 months to sell as much tickets as possible. Even if I'm sure they'll sell more tickets than usual during the first days!

205 euros for a combi, 100 for a day ticket, train travel included again

Looks the same as last time really. No mention of beer tickets though.

Hope there's some ticket left for me!

it's happening. ❤️

The question is, there will be tickets until the 30th for those of us from abroad?

I think they're still not sure about how many tickets they can sell, so no one has the answer now.

In the "Update" section it says 205€ for a combi, in the "Tickets" section it says 215€ 🤔
56€ for 20 food tickets

They've confirmed 66k in a radio interview today. They also said names will follow in the next days, so Mon or Tue.

If they follow the line up release pattern from the last couple of years that could mean 2 headliners tomorrow, Sunday and Monday and the rest of the line up on Tuesday.

Great to see things finally happening whichever way it comes.

FYI, a poster on the Festileaks board has 'confirmed' the following over the last month or so.

QOTSA, Oscar and the Wolf, Sigrid, BMTH, Limp Bizkit, Caribou, Soulwax, Netsky, Viagra Boys, Mono (tour cancelled), Bathlazar, STUFF, Sports Team, Girl in Red, Cavetown, Little Simz, Borokov Borokov, Whispering Sons, Arlo Parks, Alfie Templeman, Gold Band, STAKE, Douglas Firs, Nova Twins, Slowthai, Andy C, Noisia, Murdock, Kelly Lee Owens, Pendulum (self confirmed), Strand of Oaks, Mall Grab, Loyle Carner

All extremely plausible names.

Frequency Festival (same weekend) updated and much slimmed down line up. Denzel Curry, Lewis Capaldi, Die Antwoord all missing amongst others. The dance area has also been moved outside and will be a silent disco. Sounds very shit.

    • So who's got a good rain dance in the locker, then? Now we're in August the weather watchers can come out of hiding.    Already having flashbacks to last year (the dust cloud of doom at the crossroads by the Courtyard entrance).   Also got to be looking sketchy for the fire/fireworks on the Sunday. Might be a controversial opinion but wouldn't mind it - the fencing annoyance isn't worth the 10 mins of 'oooohhh, aaahhhh', plus the raining of hot embers last year!

    • I'm surprised they risked it, especially after nearly missing their Glasto 22 slot under similar circumstances  I did see someome say Ellie didnt sound as strong as recently but I'm guessing playing 3 shows in 2 different continents doesnt help that    On the topic though I can definitely see them doing a Fontaines and having a break over winter before a few final Clearing shows next summer
