Unless I get 'triggers' my memory is fairly fucked nowadays. I can be halfway up the stairs and not know what I'm going upstairs for. It could be dementia, general old age, or the result of a hedonistic lifestyle - or all three!

Ok, it’s been 9 days since anyone posted in here. I had to search the thread FFS. Anyway. Afternoon session. 9 pints. So excited for the festival.... it’s been three long years(do you still want me).

Apologies to the youngsters for the vague Tony Orlando reference.

But.....FOUR WEEKS!!!!!

9 pints is good training.  I've just finished a nice Northern Monk IPA, got some great DIPAs from the USA in the fridge for later once I've cooked a prawn linguine, all is good in the world.

My lovely wife made sausage beans and chips. Now deciding whether half seven is too early to go to bed, or if I should drink more.

Not drunk - working sadly but just had a brothers competition on Facebook to win tix to Glastonbury if anyone is still trying. Its literally stick your name in and who you want to go with.

 Closes 29th May.

Thanks for posting that. I didn't try for tickets for this year, but have done the various competitions to see if fate would lead me to go to the festival. I have now entered this comp too. cheers. 🙂

    • Generally shorter too, I imagine. 🙂
    • Will that work for arenas with seats? People will have their tickets on their phones and needs to find their seat.
    • Excellent new release from overpass today - well worth checking out.
    • Having lived here for 2 and a half years now my take is that security, safety and organisation are just not a priority in Spain. It's not even exclusive to festivals. It's a part of everything.   Simple example. I'm Irish and in Ireland if you assemble a construction site you have to adhere to a lot of regulations about cordoning off the site so nobody can enter and get injured. Here, you're walking down the foot path and suddenly without any warning you're in a construction site. If not, you'll suddenly find yourself directed onto the road to get around the construction.   Life is more laid back here in general. Pros and cons.
