No problem. ?

Still a fake. Different picture, the text isnt correctly aligned. Just because they did end up playing doesnt mean this is suddenly a 'leak'. Everyone can take some rumors and photoshop them together with the artwork that's already out there

Just putting people under pressure.

It's all about these sentence. If you put people under pressure to buy tickets, they will buy them more easily. It's the same with regular concerts, where they say "last tickets", although they sometimes only sold 75% of the tickets.

Or Ken is just drawing away your attention with the percentages and is in fact actually hinting at The War on Drugs being announced soon... 😉

Surprised no one mentioned it here. It‘s rescheduled.

Have a day ticket for Friday...I really wonder if „rescheduled“ alludes to the same headliners in 2021. Why wouldn‘t you call it cancelled instead if you can‘t keep the main part of the line up? Just an assurance stunt?

Anybody in the know whether this will keep part of it's lineup? I was really looking forward to see the Red Hot Chili Peppers this year. Do you think they might be back in 2021?

They will normally :-). Always the plan to do a full tour then.

Why they don't announce RHCP stay headliner for pinkpop 2021 if they already know it?

How do you know there'll be a full tour after the festival season?

There are always some business reasons and an agenda/schedule to follow. All festivals can't/won't already announce the names for 2021 even if they're booked and 100% confirmed.

About RHCP, it was previously announced they'd just make a few shows this year and then a real tour (even if their agenda is always a bit weird) in 2021 with - hopefully - the new album. I'm pretty sure we'll see them at Pinkpop, Werchter, maybe NovaRock and Rock Am Ring again, etc. Would be nice to see them at Lolla Paris again too.

It is just not that easy. 🙂 surely not for a band with the size of RHCP. The comeback of John is a reason that they can ask more again, and they have to wait to announce when the band is giving permission.

    • Primavera refunding day tickets which are probably a negligible percentage of attendees yesterday.
    • Thursday day tickets being refunded. Fair play.
    • I’ve had a good sleep and I feel weirdly zen about the whole thing.   My first Primavera, so not the greatest first impression. I guess today couldn’t be any worse, right?   Thoroughly enjoyed Men I Trust and Geese. Cupra is a beautiful stage and the crowd seemed fun, friendly and engaged.   I think it probably could have gone even worse, considering how dangerous the crowding felt at times.   Anyway, we go again.
    • Brighton centre is a weird old venue for the Mary Wallopers - a great band, a really good live spectacle, and its a saturday night as well which sets it all up - but its at the bloody Centre? a charmless nonsense of a conference centre? Brighton dome is a ten min walk away and is so much nicer a place to see bands its ridiculous!    ah well, i'll probably mosy along anyways . . .
    • So bad honestly. I get that bad weather happens but their communication was non existent. When you're managing crowds of tens of thousands of people, it's just not good enough. I left when Massive Attack was cancelled (the first time) and it genuinely did feel unsafe trying to get out. No one knew what was going on, people still sitting in the ground when there were hoards of people trying to leave, no crowd management at all...   I've been to PS enough times to know sometimes you need to just roll with it but this was way worse than "the bar queue was 30 minutes long".    Today will be better but still feel super disappointed.
