Yoghurt on a Stick

The birth of all the music I hold so dearly....

Recommended Posts

Fear not, I have now had an education in other genres, but it's this track that was to, musically, blow my mind.

Apologies because there's no point to this post. Then again, that's not exactly unfamiliar territory for me!

Coincidentally I was playing her double album Bad Girls this week, especially like the 3 songs on the old LP 4th side, not sure she gets enough credit these days. Some of her old albums are being re-released on vinyl (at ridiculous prices).

All roads in this City lead back to Kraftwerk.

Top tune though Yog, one of my all time faves.

There's me, a die-hard punk and then at the school disco this would come on and all the girls would be up and dancing. All of a sudden, bollocks to that punk lark (well, for at least 3 mins...)

Yea absolutely brilliant classic tune. They should soundcheck the Pyramid every festival Wednesday morning with that.

I seem to recall Donna grew to really hate that song due to its sexual overtones.

How could I forget Kraftwerk? I recall a very happy time in my life listening to them one summer on my first trip abroad (other than to Ireland). I can even remember the year - 1981. :)

We never had a school disco. Probably just as well, because I went to an all boys school.
