Lock ups told they can’t charge phones anymore

So essentially, unless I want to stick around the EE tent for a few hours, there's nowhere to leave my big powerbank to charge?

Caved and bought an EE battery. Just like they wanted. Sigh. Felt like having a go at the person who sold me it but it’s not their fault is it.

Same, disappointed to let them "win" but can't do without me phone for the rest of the weekend.

Yeah, incredibly shit decision. 

The only way there will be blow back is if we give it to them. 

Social media makes it very easy to contact EE, Emily and the festival organisation to let them know this is not ok. Email is there for those how don’t want to use the usual platforms.

The lock ups in Pennards were certainly charging phones on the Sunday.

I finished my shift at 12pm on Pennards, and they got given the go-ahead to put the charging kit back on later that afternoon. EE did tweet saying that they were not responsible for the shut down and the decision was reversed.

Lock up next to Glastonbury-on-sea were certainly charging when I dropped something off on Sunday
