He'll still never play Glastonbury and if he did I'm not sure where he'd fit in. Anything but the Pyramid would feel like an insult but I fear it'd be spoiled by those not familiar with him.

Like Tommy boy is almost always honest with interviewers. 

He hasnt produced a album since 2011. If he has retired - how would we know the difference? 

But on the OP question - cant be many artists not suited to a festival format - but he might be one.

He wouldn't play in a million years. Hes not retired either. Last sighting of Tom, other than in the Netflix Keef documentary was on Letterman 2 years ago. Being hilarious and playing a beauty of a new tune.

I guess if he played (which he never will, let's face reality) he'd headline West Holts? He'd probably be better suited to Acoustic but it'd likely be Portishead 95 all over again. 

I'd be happy if he ever plays any UK gigs again, let alone Glasto.

Retired from touring I shoulda said, as he's clearly not whiling away his days in FL. I thought I'd read it somewhere but I've had a scout about and there's no verified word on live retirement. Still tho, nine years without a proper show, him being late 60's and looking unlike there's a cause to get back on the road; I'd be surprised to see further shows.

Emily has spoken of intent to get him on the farm plenty so I'd think it'd be Pyramid or nowt in the crazy scenario he ends up playing. She called him a "potential to headline" but I would think a few notches down in a Stoff/Burt type slot and it'd probably do him a disservice.
