Ommadawn
Apparently parts of the road surface of the A37 at Pylle have melted today. There's some delays at the moment. Hopefully they'll get it sorted by tomorrow and Wednesday.

Smeble
Oh FFS! It's supposed to be even hotter tomorrow. i only went past there yesterday, seemed fine then, must have got really hot today. not sure what they can do between now and tomorrow that will sort it and hold up to the heat tomorrow, especially will large numbers of heavy vehicles due from noon. let me guess, delayed opening of cv east again they could bring northbound traffic off at the crossroads at the top of wraxell hill, it leads to the same place, not been down there so not sure if it's Motorhome friendly. Trout Mask Replica
That affects east car parks too right?

Looking at apple maps the traffic seems to be queuing northbound south of the Pyle lane turning, that being said apple maps traffic info is bloody awful now showing no traffic issues at all Edited June 19, 2017 by Smeble
Ommadawn
Main congestion appears to be after the Pylle turning (by Jon Thorners shop). Whether that's due to the road surface or just festival traffic I don't know (probably the latter).

There'll be a lot of traders coming onsite now I'd imagine
EasyUserName
I drove this around 6pm tonight, and there was no sign of traffic issues, or anything wrong with the road surface. I was only on the section around Pylle Lane though, and the bits a couple of miles to the south.
