2015? I was also their having a fun time

Yup! One of my mates was wondering why on earth you'd watch a film at a festival (it was his first Glastonbury) but I convinced him it'd be fun. He was pleasantly surprised and had a jolly good time!! :)

Also interesting to note that the announcement suggests they will be screening Pyramid headline sets from 10pm. Is this a new thing or have they done this in previous years?

Screening live Pyramid sets in there seems like the oddest thing ever. Who's going to that? You can hear the Pyramid from there.

Thanks Sime! It was enormous fun, I shall likely go this year too!

No problemo Lucy! I'll be watching it again this year (it's bound to be a late night showing again), so will look out for the Southampton lady with ginger hair :)

Yeah my mates and me had been up all night Friday so we were pretty tired, and I had had my buss killed by Kanye so fancied something low key, turned out to be alot more fun than expected, great way to spend a few hours.

Yeah that's mental!

But each to their own I suppose!

Yes do!!! I'll likely be in my homemade purple and pink furry jacket, so should be fairly easy to spot!!! :)

Maybe if they screened them at about midnight, or the next morning, for those who went to see someone else, it would make more sense.

WOAH! Laputa Castle In The Sky better be Japanese with subs, otherwise I'll make a scene. Never done Pilton Palis before, but never seen Laputa on a big screen either, so if it doesn't clash with anybody good I'm there.

Your Name is also buzzin

    • I see, well even if they aren't on sale it's still not a disaster sales wise, it's not like they are struggling to sell a half capacity areana
    • Blue dot wouldn’t be a thing if Ticketmasters dynamic pricing went down as well as up, it proves that the dynamic pricing was just a scam to make more money rather than something that moved with the market supply/demand.
    • I agree that we’ll never really know up until the concert happens (and even then we still may not know) but I think promoters are having to come up with new tactics to combat ‘blue dot fever’ (already hating that phrase!) and trying to imply that concerts are selling better than they actually are / available tickets are in short supply is definitely one of them.    To add though, it is quite common at the O2 Arena for the rear blocks to not go on sale (and then remain closed for the concert and covered over to hide the empty seats). And equally common for standing to sell out first, then side/lower tier seating next and rear/upper tier seating last.    Jungle’s two concerts at the O2 are a good comparison for this - for their 1st (announced) date, all blocks are on sale and seats in all sections remain unsold, whereas for their 2nd date, the rear blocks are greyed out (more so than for Muse) and equally lots of seats remain unsold in the blue blocks. Standing for both concerts are showing as sold out.
    • MGK can and should headline. I was at one of his shows earlier in the year as a very casual fan, and there were a lot of alt people there. The show was actually class and he completely won me over. Anyone who opposes him headlining is just a gatekeeper imo, we need to move with the times.
    • Ultimately Glasto is just part of the festival circuit, however special we may think it is. The vast majority of its headliners have done many others
