Thanks, I've used that. Going at Easter. I got an instant generic reply on my email and genuinely got excited seeing the name glastonbury come up. I actually shrieked!

I've got serious issues!

I've always thought the BBC could do a cracking little 3 part  'fly on the wall' documentary on the building of the festival. All the early planning, the SE corner builds, main stage builds, etc.

I think The One Show did a really brief 10 minute thing on Block 9 builds a couple of years ago but that was about it.

Lots of american cars behind recycling in the compound. Think 1970's cop show cadilac etc. Big boxy things with chrome grill. Apart from that there are a few new chipping tracks laid in Spring Ground so that you can drive on hard surface around the field. New track in latino and they have widened the track past Ridge and Furrow.

The woodchip mountain now resembles a small hill.

Still relatively quiet.

It is down by the JP and is a newly cleared area around the existing pond. There are fish in there but there are signs up asking people to keep their dogs out. I would think that attempts at fishing would be deeply frowned upon.

Is that a pond or river and where is it situated? Seen as I arrive on site the Tuesday before the festival might bring my rod and have a quick chuck. :)

Struth that's a bloody big bit of water.. I think along with the kitchen sink I'll pack a fishing rod lol

    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
    • Yeah, I admit that a small part of me felt relieved when they announced that MA are canceled.. But on the positive side- got to see Florence Road afterall, and they were great
    • Glad I could take the €3 bus to Playa Catalunya! Hope y'all warm and dry up.
