It looks as if the positioning of the poster tells us the Other headline trio with Neil's tinkering, tho I may be speaking too soon if one of them isn't a headliner.

I'm completely reading into the poster when I say this but surely they're not gonna put someone playing lower than other headliner above the 3 other headliners when they're listed together like that? Which would mean the top 3 rows on the poster would all be pyramid acts.

The National > The xx > Radiohead would be absolutely amazing for me.

Although I'm still not ruling out The xx headlining The Park stage...

  1. Someone suggested that the band wanted to play The Park.
  2. Eavis suggesting big things for The Park this year, as well as acts who have "had a taste for it in the past".
  3. The band headlined there 7 years ago.

I can see them playing it but it can't be an announced set. It'd be carnage..

I agree, unless if they're headlining Friday and it is well planned. With the Thom Yorke secret set they locked The Park after it reached capacity.

It's just a thought anyway, but signs are definitely suggesting they're playing The Park IMO.

Seems fair. Stormzy might not be connected to this BBK evening after all going off Neil's comment in another thread. So three lines of Pyramid acts, one of Other and then rest wherever does seem to make sense.

This is what I'm thinking now.

I also reckon his Wiley/Justice/Stormzy/Liam Gallagher info must have obviously been wrong but his later info on the hip-hop night on Other was correct.

Aye ignore what I said earlier - now going with:

Radiohead, The National - Major Lazer
Foo Fighters, Biffy Clyro, Katy Perry - Alt-J
Ed Sheeran, The xx, Chic, Barry Gibb - Boy Better Know

There's no way Katy Perry would be that low down

Usually I'd agree but when you've got a lineup as stacked as this years, somebody's obviously gotta take a lower slot than usual and she seems like the best candidate to be playing during the day with the sun beating down than any of the others. The National may be the smaller act but their position on the poster definitely suggests Pyramid sub to me.

Aye I've been thinking the reason The National haven't shown up recently is due to a disagreement over what slot they deserve. I thought they wouldn't return until they were given Pyramid sub or Other headliner, and their poster placement backs that up.

Katy Perry I can see playing lower.

Yeah this is what I'm thinking now too. Other subs from Lorde, Courteeners, Emeli Sande, Phoenix and The Flaming Lips.

Do you not think you're reading way too much into things?

How about:

FRI - Radiohead, the XX,

Major Lazer, Lorde

SAT - Foos, Biffy

The National, Alt J

SUN - Ed, Perry

BBK, Wiley

Info we had on alt-J was Other headliners and with what we now know I reckon the top 3 lines are all Pyramid.

Although Matt will disagree until proven wrong, I'm definitely inclined to believe that Lorde is Major Lazer's sub now, which fucking sucks if she's seemingly clashing with The National.

And aye I agree with Will's National theory - they just needed Radiohead to be the headliner and an undoubtedly big crossover fanbase that comes with that for their position as a sub to make sense/not go down like a lead balloon.

Got Lorde and Sandé subbing Major Lazer and BBK. Could go either way round for me.

By a lot of the support on here aren't the National far more popular than Alt J? I don't really like either but it seems that way. But if that's the info Neil has then perhaps its true.

FRI, Radiohead, the XX

Major Lazer, Lorde

SAT, Foos, the National

Alt J, Biffy

SUN, Ed, Perry

BBK, Wiley and the lads

Weren't the National been touring with the Foos? Surely they're bigger than Biffy at any rate
