However much I love Yussef Kamaal, I can feel Margo Price calling me up to the Park at that time of the day. A hologram might swing it back in YK's favour though...

Yeah Friday is jam packed. West Holt the magnet this year for day time fun.

I've no interest in the WH headliners or subs on any night which is perfect clash free stuff for me.

Winning.

Afriquoi and cinematic orchestra clash depending

Are Afriquoi not on Saturday?

Has anyone seen Cinematic Orchestra? Does it work live?

For sure. I was super-worried I may have missed the chance a few years ago, so Toots is as much of a must-see as any other really. Hoping I can get a good spot after rushing back from RTJ.

I think I've come to the sad conclusion that I won't be seeing toots.

theres 4 acts that are playing at staggered times across three stages. RTJ, Loyle Carner, Katy Perry & Toots. It is with a heavy heart that I think my plan of action will be the first half of RTJ, nip over to JP for LC and back for K.Pez.

In a straight shootout I think Toots would have won it over Perry, but add in the fact that Carner is in my must-sees list the logistics just dont work.

Yes. I never said they weren't?

Not seen them which is why it's clash depending. Would check out if nowt on and mood takes me but I have reservtions.

Ah yes, "clash depending" - thought you meant they were clashing with each other. Carry on.

Yeah like Cinematic Orchestra but as as an early evening gig to get moving on Sunday? Dunno.

Well, I had next to no idea who The Cinematic Orchestra were two days ago but after listening to a few of their tracks out of curiosity, I've listened to nothing but them in the last 48 hours

I was already planning on a moderat-justice double whammy to finish the fest but now made it a triple adding them before

I'll say it once again, the WH line up this year is stunning! I'd pay my entrance fee for that line up alone :)

Hot 8 Brass Band & Justice are my only 2 to definitely see on WH.

Avalanches clash with someone so Ill miss them & I might see the Jacksons.

Is there anything I should be seeing that Im missing?

Preferably early on in the day?

Edit: Anderson.Paak vs Future Islands vs Sophie Ellis Bextor is a clash Im gunna see what happens on the day.

good stuff on WH early in the day all weekend for me:

Friday - Henry Wu Presents The Kamaal Williams Ensemble which is the live name for Yussef Kamaal. Incredibly rhythmic and jazzy, fantastic live too.

Saturday - Khruangbin. Good band who mix aspects of pyschedlic with kinda surfer/stoner rock and funk.

Sunday - Ryley Walker. Bit of an odd one for WH in my opinion. Indie singer/songwriter with aspects of blues and psychedelic rock at times. Nice early afternoon stuff.

Hopeful of a cuddle from Thundercat

If big Andy can sign me a Malibu LP as we compliment each other's hats, that'd be just peachy. Get him on the roster.
