I don't mean to alarm anyone but I've just checked in glastonbury premier inn after 9 hours travelling and he said people at the site office have spoken to him and are  saying Glastonbury might be cancelled??! People are being turned away for the last hour he said. This is horrible if true. Apparently it's for health and safety reasons. I don't know if this guy is being pessimistic or what but jesus surely not??

My lad is on a coach from hull , should of took 7 an half hours , he still on coach ,been 13 hours now and slowly getting closer

I've not heard that. A mate in our convoy is chatting with his mate on site (working in ops) and that's not been told to us.

Just saying what's been said by a guy who's been 15 times and lives here. I hope it's a load of crap. Sat here now confused. Said its 4 hours to get to the site from here and people will be sleeping in cars now trying to get in?? No car park space left as well he said?? Chinese whispers gone mad prehaps?

Glasto Police tweeted an hour ago to say traffic was moving, it was 4 hours from G town earlier but not now. No way car parks can be full.

Lol at the cancellation "rumours". I mean what reasons would they have? It would cost way too much. Traffic problems and a bit of mud isn't enough for a late cancellation. Not even the disgruntled locals would not have the people power to do that at this late notice.....

If it does get cancelled I will eat my whole box of festival hats.

Just arrived in Glastonbury town after an 8 hour trip from Shropshire (normally 3 hours)

Staying with mates here and not been onsite but happy to report traffic now flowing much better and no suggestions of festival not going ahead, just that some car parks are closed due to mud/access.

All pedestrian gates are 24 hour entry and all car parks also, so whatever time you arrive you'll be able to park and enter the festival, however, I don't know if there's any car park restrictions this year due to the ground, I guess you'll be directed by local police and stewards if this is the case.
