Our newbie camping buddy set off from Hull on foot on 12th June, is currently around 60 miles from site after taking shelter in cheltenham with very sore feet.  Cant wait to meet him.

If you see a chap that looks Jesus like hobbling towards Shepton Mallet give him a lift :)

Train from Paddington loaded with lots of festival goers, much excitement and loved overhearing lots of anticipation, couldn't help but think many looked under prepared for the weather, please please let it dry out. I'll be seeing you on Sunday!

Roll on 7am when I finish work. Tonight has been a nightmare to get through. Did not help that I have still not gotten over Saturdays debauchery at The Roses.

all packed and will be catching the Crew Coach this morning - Normally we would set up tents and go for a drink at the Bread and Roses but the WBC is holding a large Party onsite tonight and Michael Eavis and Emily Eavis are the special guests - I know Michael well but have never met Emily Eavis { she was the born in 1979 which was the first year I ever went }

    • Seems the addition of the Sun Stage area is interesting. Suspect this is the area where the Stage 4 used to be pre-2024. Looks as though they want to try create some space to keep people in amongst the arena post-headliners, rather than just crowds all descending back on the campsite entertainment at once.
    • 2000 Trees - 3 Day Tickets on Concert for Carers to buy (pair £15) sure they will not have them for long, I cant check if they are still available as it now says I have already bought tickets.
    • times and technology has changed , a pyramid headliner is often about the show thats put on as much as the music like it or not and as much as many would like to you cant really blame an artist for trying to get the best out of the set both for the audience in the field and for the cameras also .... Beyonce was 15 years ago
