Where's all the breakcore gone?

I might be over looking an few artists I don't know but this years line up seems devoid of breakcore (I know it's not to everyones liking but neither are Coldplay) and I want to know where it's gone?

I loved starting the festival on a Thursday night with 8 hours or solid hardcrew action when Bangface hosted the Glade Lounge and then spending the other nights in the House of Dolls (Dolls House?) until 3am watching people walking in and not quite knowing what was hitting them.
Hell the first year I attended there was a Shitmat Bong-Ra set in the dance field in the middle of the afternoon.

I know I'm getting old but I'm not ready to listen to Coldplay (I'm old enough to remember Parachutes being an awesome album though)

Bang face in the Glade was great fun! Break core is a bit too hard for me but I still enjoyed the energy. I think that style has kinda died out in the UK a bit though so maybe that's why? no suggestions I'm afraid :/

It's up there with gabba for me as the most appalling subgenre of dance music.

Of course each to their own etc etc but i just cannot enjoy it. It sounds like when cassettes used to get mangled in my tape player.

Remember Squire of Gothos absolutely smashing it there one year. Loads of massive inflatable animals being thrown around.

The G Stage when it was in Silver Hayes in 07 had Shitmat on (with a recreation of Scott and Charlene's wedding in Neighbours but with two blokes dressed as badgers to that track he did sampling Angry Anderson), followed up by DJ Scotch Egg who broke off his set to play the Top Gun theme, and also "Bon Jovi Karaoke" which consisted of a Japanese lass wildly screaming the chorus of Living On A Prayer into the microphone.

I think a lot of acts just stopped doing it, Shitmat definitely did and I don't think Wrong Music is still going as a label either. Didn't Scotch Egg overstay his visa and was therefore deported?

If I find some though, likely in the SE corner, I'll probably end up sticking around for it

Honestly, that could be totally genuine or a hilarious parody.  I have absolutely no way of telling the difference and damn sure not googling Shitmat.
