yes that is a tune! Thank you for reminding me about it.
Not going to lie I've really been giving into my guilty pleasure of George Michael recently, especially

I usually wake up with a song / tune in my head.

I call it Dream Radio.

This morning it's the Game of Throne music.

Often it's due to falling asleep watching a DVD Box Set and having the titles screen music on a loop for 4 hours while dozing.

Had Enter Sandman stuck in head for the past few weeks. Just that riff, not even the whole song

Driving the missus mad when I'm humming it all the time

and now since I've said that it's back in my head.....damn

I used to whistle an annoying tune (e.g. the Asda advert theme tune) at work between 8am and 9am as I walked round the building. Then us lot in my office ran a £1 sweepstake to see how many other people we'd hear whistling / humming it throughout the day by 4pm.

Extra points awarded for an accompanying "...OH FOR FUCKS SAKE! WHY HAVE I GOT THAT FUCKING TUNE IN MY HEAD?".

Excellently the 'infected' whistlers help the tune go 'viral'.

Something tells me @The Nal might've watched the '80s top of the pops last night :)

No! But maybe the neighbours or something had it on and I heard. Fucking terribly annoying song.

I did set it as my missus' alarm tone once when I was away for the week with work. She hadn't a clue how to change it either. :)

    • With this being a fallow year do we know if the Beeb is going to show any past years highlights or make sets available on Iplayer to give us some glasto content as we await a return to the fields?

    • Brazil's first half was genuinely dreadful all round, not just the midfield, so they're absolutely not bulletproof. Whether Scotland have the quality to take advantage is a different question.   Tbf, that's as much on Morocco looking good, which I did think was a possibility. They could be a bit annoyed with themselves not to have scored more before Vini's goal tbh.
    • Surely nowadays with so much data analytics available on every division in world football and so much awareness that people aren't suckered in on the basis of a decent World Cup game... right?   Although tbf, from what I saw, Australia's game plan worked very well. But that was as much thanks to Turkey blowing varying opportunities given they created enough chances but couldn't finish, a la what happened with Switzerland against Qatar when they really could and should've won by 3/4 goals.
    • I missed Viagra Boys for a good spot for Gorillaz. Was a nice weekend and festival for me. Would definitely come back, if the line up is right. Get back home safe everyone.
