Cheers, but still no T&Cs for specific competition, the account's not verified, has no bio, and doesn't seem to have ever linked once to the Metro website. So it's a bit weird. Still tweeted to enter though of course

I still entered. Can't even find a contact e-mail though to ask. Surely should say how many times you can enter etc

Yep I've still entered (on two accounts). Things like that, specifically what the prize is, disclaimers. Despite tweeting 'news stories' in statement/headline form, they never once link to articles on their site (which is what seems the most weird to me), they have another Entertainment account. 

Saying that, if they're legit and someone from here wins I will happily make a grovelling apology.

You make a good point, and odd how MetroUK twitter doesnt follow metro_showbiz and vice versa, but Metro do print the twitter handle in their guilty pleasures page so I would be 100% convinced it is genuine...

yeah seeing the amount of people entering these competitions is making me think I am definitely not going this year, haha. It feels like it's time to finally accept that.

That was the sort of thing I was looking for, eventually got put off trawling through the Metro for obvious reasons. Giving away tickets from that account seems to contradict the whole point of giveaways (no clickthrough potential because...no links to click, anywhere). All too much for a Monday this is

I've pretty much accepted it but there's that little bit of hope because it's not technically impossible yet. Standard problem of the internet though, everyone else find out about stuff as easily as we do!
