Many thanks.

I'll be more active come ticket time but I thought I'd be prepared.

Welcome, things are reasonably quiet at the moment but the craziness is due to start pre ticket sales day and the wild unsubstantiated headliner speculation

Long time reader of efestivals. Invaluable source of info

I have been to Glastonbury for the last few years as part of a ticket group / syndicate. Mainly friends

For one reason or another, mainly weddings and arrival of babies, they have all dropped out

I am looking to maximise my chances of securing tickets for next year

If you are a looking for a reliable member of your Glasto ticket group / syndicate - please let me know

Happy to provide whatever info gives you comfort that I am serious and not currently part of any other groups

Thanks!

Hi 👋

New member here, trying for 2025. How have you managed such success with tickets? Being in group of 6? Even working in a group that seems like great luck with all those years attended!

so various different ways over the years ..... I may have my years out a little here but from around 2002 - 2010 there wasnt such a demand for tickets so wasnt too bad getting them , a couple of years post that a local paper , western daily press gave the chance to buy tickets , and once we won them with that paper .... ive just been quite lucky personally on the ticket front too and its most often been me thats got through . 1 / 2 devices and only one tab . Covid year my big failure when I got my friends bus tickets and didnt bother myself and then failed in resale . Big spreadsheet of 100 plus setup on here and many helpers also from here got 95% plus tickets .. thanks everyone once again . We now have that spreadsheet group and we all try for everyone and happy to pay for everyone working to get everyone there , ive now learnt my lesson and have myself in both sales ... bus isnt perfect but a wed bus is better than missing out completely .

Hey all, looooong time lurker here, finally broke the seal on making a post yesterday during the build up to the usual ticket sale madness.

TL;DR: Hello!

Been lurking without an account for best part of 20 years. Attending Glasto was an experience I'd always wanted since starting to actively follow the lineups and performances in 1994 as a 16-year-old. However growing up in Reading meant that it was kinda silly not to go there instead for my self-prescribed one-festival-a-year and so I spent my teenagerdom and early adulthood at Little John's Farm rather than Worthy Farm (1995-2002, 2004-2005, missing 2003 as I got married).

After 2005 I "retired" from weekend festivals for a number of reasons: at 27 years old I had felt old at Reading given the demographic and also as physically making it through 4-5 days of camping was no longer a total breeze (at 27! What little I knew!). We were also starting a family and my daughters arrived in 2006 and second in 2009.

That kinda put the brakes on any festivalling for a few years, but every year I watched the coverage avidly and jealously.

After devouring the festival coverage once more on iPlayer in 2017 I resolved to go. Of course then 2018 was fallow. And then I kept finding myself unprepared for how early the sales were, not managing to round up a group friends to go with or just plain stupidly missing them. Not to mention the 4 years of not-actually-possible-to-go-and-omg-the-demand from 2020-2023 due to The Thing That Happened.

Finally, in 2023, I'd managed to get everything in place -- I had a group! I had remembered when the ticket sale was! We somehow got through the queue to get tickets! And, this year, I finally made it to Glastonbury. An almost indescribable experience. Just... Amazing.

And so to Glastonbury 2025. Somehow the Glastonbury gods have been smiling on me again and I was lucky enough to get through for tickets in the coach tickets sale (I don't drive, so being successful in this sale was relatively important to me!). And, this year, I will be taking my youngest daughter so I can give her the experience as a 16-year-old that I had first wanted at the same age.

See you in the fields! ❤️

Evenin'

Newly registered here today. I've lurked without an account a long time ago for Glasto news in the early 2000s and occasionally drop in on the APE London threads for ticket offers. Heading back to this year for the first time since 2007. Going solo and so I will be looking out for threads with camping tips etc, I use to camp up Pennard Hill way.

Fond memories of the cider bus and silent disco and the randomness and even some of the mud though hoping for none of that next year of course.

    • Maybe hopeful but get Knocked Loose on the Sunday opposite the legend. Similar to the slot Turnstile had in 2022. Would be absolutely phenomenal.
    • One of my personal favourite bands at the minute - MUNA. Was very surprised not to see them booked in 2023 with their last album but hopefully they'll be around next year. Very fun new album from these guys and, as aforementioned, another standout for me at Big Weekend.
    • Absolutely second this. Were great at Big Weekend and already have a great catalogue of songs forming so far. Would love to see them on the farm!
    • A mixed first day for us. First of all, we were honestly quite shocked that there was no security check at all at the VIP entrance around 7:30 PM. No bag check, nothing. I’ve attended Primavera many times over the years and this felt surprisingly lax for an event of this size. Did anyone else experience the same?   Another disappointment was the communication regarding the weather situation. Primavera has some of the best sound systems and speaker setups in the festival world, yet somehow they were not able to make a single clear announcement explaining what was happening. Instead, people were expected to read tiny messages on screens in Mordor while thousands were left wondering what was going on. A simple and direct audio announcement would have gone a long way.   On a lighter note, this guy absolutely made my day. Sitting right in front of the Estrella Damm terrace, wearing nothing but a long-sleeve shirt, jeans and a pair of Converse All Stars, he remained completely unbothered by the rain. While everyone else was looking for shelter, he sat there wearing sunglasses, calmly watching the crowd as if he was watching a movie.   Absolute main character energy!
    • I think my party got pretty lucky last night, at least compared to some of the horror stories over on Reddit. I was very impressed with Father John Misty in particular.   Perhaps my view would be different if I were a big Massive Attack fan or whatever, but right now my feeling is that if it's not safe for the shows to go ahead... then it's not safe for the shows to go ahead. I'd much rather they were cautious than roll the dice when it comes to something like that.    Here's hoping everyone has a better day today.
