Apologies if this has been addressed elsewhere, but I had a look and couldn't find anything. There is a TBC for the Cabaret tent on the Thursday. Is it running a full line up on the Thursday this year?

I've just had my eyes drawn to it by your post.

It was done in error, due to auto-pilot listing from what's on Alistair Barrie's website. Presumably he's listing his days away at Glastonbury and not his days performing at Glastonbury, so it's been removed from the line-up page here.

I spend at least half the weekend in the cabaret field. So much to see, always amusing, often thought provoking too and generally it's more inclusive and interactive between crowd and performer.

I really miss Record Graveyard last thing on a Sunday.

It was a few years ago and hundreds of people turned up for the show, mostly armed with bags and pocketfuls of rice.

I can't remember who was performing (American/Canadian bloke with a guitar?), but he had a real problem winning over the audience.  His plaintive cries of "I'm sorry, I'm not HIM" didn't go far and in the end if I remember correctly he had to go off stage and come back on bollock naked with his guitar to win the crowd over.  Ended up being a real laugh, I guess the that particular crowd will give almost anything a go if the Record Graveyard is their favourite act.

Bring back Woody Bop Muddy!

Phil Nichol! Won them over in the end though, which I'd figured would be nigh on impossible!

Standard shout out to bramble fm and mik artistik! Always a joy to watch. This part of the festival always surprises and delights in a way that music acts sometimes fail to do! Plus i find bands and djs easy to see outside the festival whereas id have no idea where to go to see most of the cabaret field performers!

    • I don't think I'm alone as a Scotland fan that there is no way that I could possibly fall asleep knowing we're about to play our first World Cup game in 28 years! Pure adrenaline is keeping me wide awake (and plenty of rum)!

    • I’m struggling to stay awake for this Brazil / Morocco … that goal helps though 😀
    • I’m not Scottish but am going to try to do it. My plan is to try and get an hour sleep between games, put the alarm on and hope that’s enough to get me through!
