Biffy aren't headlining Reading this year repeated x100 was my personal favourite Black Crow bullshit of the year.

At that time, Reading were still in negotiations, Biffy weren't set to headline.

Personally would love this, especially Weezer into Blink. Would like a stronger sub under Guns N Roses...just incase we need someone to fill in and do a headliner set...

I believe Radiohead backed out of a few festivals. Yeah I got the Boss wrong, but a lot of people were expecting him. I like the way you choose to forget that I told everyone about the Chillies and Florence ages before they were announced, which no one believed then either.

If what I've heard is true, no one is remotely close to guessing right yet.

Well if no one has guessed what you've heard then atleast we know that we haven't got it 100% wrong. If you know so much give us a list of who is there next year? That way when it's announced we can see just how accurate you actually are

black crow has a long history of huge inaccuracies, I wouldn't get hung up on it.

I can't give you a list, as it's too early at this stage. I've already given one name.

As of now I know absolutely nothing about next years headliners. But if I was to take a massive stab in the dark, avenged would seem like one of the 3 most logical choices.

If I had to take an early punt it would be a7x, bmth and guns n roses.

I can see soni trying to run as Metallica will be available.

Would Download not try to book Metallica to prevent Sonisphere from getting them, in that case?

BMTH aren't big enough to headline, they need a new album out before then, they've toured the UK to death.

Last I heard Metallica wanted to tour their new album when it eventually drops, wouldn't surprise me if they did an arena tour late next year, haven't heard anything about them for quite a while now, last I heard was when I wrote on here that they wanted to take a year off.

Ah Guns, who knows what they will do, last I heard a few months ago; they were planning a stadium tour to celebrate Appetite. If they're still together I can see this happening, unless they get ridiculous offers from festivals.

Fully expecting Sonisphere to be back.

    • I see, well even if they aren't on sale it's still not a disaster sales wise, it's not like they are struggling to sell a half capacity areana
    • Blue dot wouldn’t be a thing if Ticketmasters dynamic pricing went down as well as up, it proves that the dynamic pricing was just a scam to make more money rather than something that moved with the market supply/demand.
    • I agree that we’ll never really know up until the concert happens (and even then we still may not know) but I think promoters are having to come up with new tactics to combat ‘blue dot fever’ (already hating that phrase!) and trying to imply that concerts are selling better than they actually are / available tickets are in short supply is definitely one of them.    To add though, it is quite common at the O2 Arena for the rear blocks to not go on sale (and then remain closed for the concert and covered over to hide the empty seats). And equally common for standing to sell out first, then side/lower tier seating next and rear/upper tier seating last.    Jungle’s two concerts at the O2 are a good comparison for this - for their 1st (announced) date, all blocks are on sale and seats in all sections remain unsold, whereas for their 2nd date, the rear blocks are greyed out (more so than for Muse) and equally lots of seats remain unsold in the blue blocks. Standing for both concerts are showing as sold out.
    • MGK can and should headline. I was at one of his shows earlier in the year as a very casual fan, and there were a lot of alt people there. The show was actually class and he completely won me over. Anyone who opposes him headlining is just a gatekeeper imo, we need to move with the times.
    • Ultimately Glasto is just part of the festival circuit, however special we may think it is. The vast majority of its headliners have done many others
