I don't know about any festival, but it appears they're not being considered for download at the moment. All three headliners are apparently pencilled in with a couple pretty much booked. And if what I heard is correct, guns n roses aren't one of them.

Its obvious with that scheme next year that GNR aren't one.

That scheme clearly has nothing to do with the headliners if they haven't booked any yet. More to do with disgruntled customers this weekend.

Not surprised if GNR aren't doing Download. Their booking agents will have more lucrative plans for them and so would FR.

Surely Blink won't be at R&L again?

Min going for Blink, Avenged and Metallica for Download.

Tbh Andre, thats what I would have guessed as well, and there is your reason for the scheme in place.

I question whether festival will get GNR, they are charging too much for a promoter to be able to put them on.

It was $250 for a standard decent enough side seat at the T-Mobile and Standing Area was over a grand.

Well that's what I've heard from a few different people. And that 2 of them are all but signed up already

I'm probably just being dumb here, but you've heard that Blink are headlining R&L or that two of Blink, Avened and Metallica are all but signed up to play Download? Or both

The loyalty scheme surely does mean that they didn't sell as much as they hoped this year and fear that the same will happen next year. I think the problem lies with them rebooking Headliners over and over, hoping for something different. Green Day or Blink would be something nice and refreshing. Bon Jovi would be a nice surprise too, but I think we all can be 99% sure that Metallica are going to be one

Pretty good all in all. Frank Carter said he see you next year on the main stage. Don't know if he was chatting shit or not but whoever was on before (think it was Attila) said the same at the end of their set too.

Some agreeable predictions there - that Friday run I could definitely see happening, and PATD seem a good fit for an act to go up against Metallica.

Would say Steel Panther are far too big for 2nd stage headline though - I think they'll sub. Also, fairly inconsequential but Mastodon are almost certain to play whatever day Metallica do as they'll be part of the package for all Metallica's festivals.
