Unlikely though it is, its fits with EE's 'not been rumoured / fourth headliner' comment.
mungo57
Eavises - get him booked. I would love Jimmy playing Led Zep songs. I would be front row centre rocking out to the 'karaoke' with the GF's dad, a spliff or 6 and a beer. Would be excellent.

Robert Plant played a fairly random mid-afternoon Pyramid slot a couple of years back didn't he? Was actually a brilliant set but, in terms of positioning/size, I don't think they would give Page anything noticeably bigger.
The Nal
Whats a "karaoke" Zeppelin set anyway? A load of people singing away to Achilles Last Stand?
Gucci Piggy
Feel like he doesn't have the novelty/cheese factor that the legend slot seems to have at the moment. Think he'd be more suited to that slot third down on Saturday that seems to have been inhabited by a more serious legend for the last few years (Burt Bacharach, Robert Plant, Elvis Costello). Would be brilliant.
The Nal
Well he can't sing so not sure what sort of gig it would be? Jimmy and a band of some sort relying on the Glasto crowd to sing the tunes? Thats a disaster waiting to happen. "OK sing loud everyone this is called Nobodys Fault But Mine". For the first verse of Whole Lotta Love yeah. Its the other hour and 19 and a half minutes of the gig thats the issue. *7 minutes into In My Time of Dying* "Come on Glasto clap your hands and sing this bit" Edited November 25, 2015 by The Nal
Gnomicide
Next up it's Daniel from Epping Forest. He's going to be singing The Crunge, after Daniel it will be Yvette from Hastings, she's doing The Lemon Song. tevaburger
more rumblings over past few days that he has indeed got a band close to being formed and is planning to be on the road...maybe it's not too far-fetched we'll see him

I'll be wherever with bells on. Will be interested to hear any new stuff. Couldn't really care about Zep covers unless its the Rain Song or White Summer or tunes like that. bellboy
I can never really understand that if a Led Zepellin reunion at Glastonbury was announced there would be talk of massive crowds at the Pyramid, mega-hype etc.etc. But the other year I had to push my through a huge crowd of people leaving after Lana Del Ray who was on before Robert Plant. It was quite sad really to see so many people leaving just before a bone fide Rock legend was due to play. From what I can remember the field was not that rammed when Plant and co. appeared. Will be great to see Jimmy Page there though.

There won't be a "whole lotta" people to see him either. Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple etc get chucked in the same pile by a lot of people. Guarantee there'll be 75,000 people saying "who?" if hes added to the lineup poster.
