Put together a realistic setlist for if they played a 90 minute set below Adele. Tried to limit it to 16 songs like the one above but couldn't cut anything I included so it ended up 17. Looks good to me. Although I've just realised I forgot How to Disappear Completely and I don't know how to fit it in.

1. Burn the Witch

2. Bloom

3. Daydreaming

4. The National Anthem

5. Pyramid Song

6. There There

7. Ful Stop

8. Myxomatosis

9. Identikit

10. Weird Fishes/Arpeggi

11. The Numbers

12. Karma Police

13. Paranoid Android

14. Idioteque

Encore:

15. Everything in its Right Place

16. Reckoner

17. True Love Waits

The encore is more likely to be

Reckoner

True Love Waits

Everything in its Right place

And if they're to miss out any of those it'd be either Bloom, Pyramid song, Myxomatosis, Karma Police or yes... Reckoner, or even Paranoid Android. I forgot how unpredictable they are, why are we predicting their setlists again?

90mins?? Isn't that what headliners get?

Normally 90 mins/2 hours, I think.

Subs get 75 mins so 90 mins is hardly a great difference.

And Radiohead are a headline act. If they sub Adele they aren't going to be classed as any old sub. They'll either be advertised as a 4th headliner or "very special guests", or something (or unannounced).

If they do play before Adele a 90 min slot would not surprised me at all.

Edit: And all their other festival performances through the Summer will be at least 90 mins so they may want to do a full set here, too.

Like this.

I actually just came back on to say I'd actually stick How to Disappear Completely in for Ful Stop. I only really included that as they've obviously played it in the past, but I reckon they could happily miss it out. 6 new songs is a fair amount in that slot (though it is Radiohead).

That's 3 songs off your setlist! Sorry I'm being a killjoy :P

but yeah they will probably get a longer set time. I wouldn't be surprised if they class them both as headliners. How long were adeles 02 gigs? Can't see her doing more than 90mins

Haha sorry when I said "90 mins is hardly a great difference" I was meaning they'd probably happily give them it seeing as it's not much longer than usual, rather than being short with you :P

I think their setlists might be a bit different from the last tour and they might throw in a few different oldies. With that in mind:

1. Burn the Witch

2.  The Bends

3. Daydreaming

4. Lotus Flower

5. 2+2=5

6. Identikit

7. Ful Stop

8. Fake Plastic Trees

9. How to Disappear Completely

10. Sail to the Moon

11. The Numbers

12. Paranoid Android

13. True Love Waits

Encore:

14. Creep

15. Reckoner

16. Idioteque

If they're not doing a full length set I don't think they'd waste any time with 2 encores - they might not even have 1. Also I think they'd do more than 3 songs from the new album

Yeah to be honest I was just having fun with that one. No chance they're playing half the songs on it.

Despite having listened to Radiohead since the late 90's, I've only once got my shit together and actually seen them live. Well, sort of. It was 2009, and I had day tickets for Reading festival. Went with 3 mates. I went for the piss-up, but also for Radiohead, who of course I'd always wanted to see. Dead excited, I was.

Except the pissup part got bigger, and the Radiohead part got a bit missed by my brain. I was about 12 pints in by the time I saw Gallows in the afternoon, then I went and got a round in and couldn't find my mates - leaving me with four pints. Which I drank.

Back to the bar I went to get another four pints in, and exactly the same thing happened - I couldnt find my bloody mates. This is halfway thru Bloc Party, so I found myself a spot and started on the next load of four pints.

Radiohead opened with Creep - this I do remember - but the twenty odd pints id had has rendered the whole rest of the concert an impossible memory. There were big icicles on the stage, and they didn't play much from The Bends. It's all a complete mystery apart from that! I've had a look at the set list online, and it sickened me to miss so many proper moments. If they do play at Glasto I'm promising myself that I'm not allowed to get absolutely bloody blotto beforehand. I had a 2 day hangover that ran into a holiday in Greece. Nobody needs a hangover that horrible in 41 degree heat.

Summary: I'm a twat

Nothing much has changed really, Radiohead are neither more likely or less likely to play :)

Quite stupid of me to think the vast amount of recent comments suggested any new news !
Any reason for the subbing Adele talk ?

It all started when someone on the Radiohead forum mentioned they had heard from a source that they are indeed subbing Adele. Neil then had a bit more info earlier today saying similar things. It could be very promising, or it could be everyone just going around in circles, with ideas that originated in this thread coming back to us as 'news'.

I'm still considering the possibility of radiohead playing AFTER Adele.

This would be ideal. Adele bottles it and takes the penultimate headline slot. Would make must Glastonbury punters more happy.

Could they potential extend the licence maybe for a one off late night show on the pyramid? Would the rules bend like this?

they used to put djs on after headliners at big chill, which always worked well.

considering the trouble Glastonbury still has with the local farmers and townspeople i doubt they'd ever be able to get an extension for the bigger stages running that late. definitely can't see Radiohead being on after Adele either. it's her shot at headlining, and sticking somebody on after her would totally undermine that. Radiohead have been there and done that before. what difference does it make to them if they have to play earlier this time round?

    • Addison Rae has 33m instagram followers, Slayyyter 667k. Also 15 to 7,5 million spotify listeners with Addison's last release being more than a year ago. Obviously these metrics aren't everything, but still there is a big gap in popularity between the two.
    • Seems like the most obvious choice. Surprised they havent played since 2019 either.

    • Yep it was on my list, id have loved to have gone.
    • Am a relative amateur in the ticket/tech shenanigans and not part of a large group etc. but personally preferred the F5 bashing approach and got through twice in recent yrs (plenty when didn't, mind) - 2023 but it crashed on me at the final hurdle and then again in 2024 where I held my nerve when it crashed again and managed to get.  Think now I am committed to volunteering if doing festivals as that's close to my heart, so happy to help others when the time comes round.   The most impressive I've seen was bus sales in 2022 when 2 mates casually bagged tickets while in San Sebastian, on a phone inside the stadium during a Real Sociedad v Man Utd game!
