The only problem with those tickets is you will FIRST need to fly to France and then get a flight from there to the festival and back, essentially burning more annual leave for some folk. If however you don't have to worry about that and money is no issue then this would be the option going forward.

Do you have to take the flights? If not, you could book separate flights and the ticket still only works out as £155, which is still a great deal for the lineup.

I haven't looked into that part too much but I would imagine it will be like the Glastonbury Festival ticket + coach package. You just need to pay for their standing price and choose if you want to take the coach down there or not. Folk here should be able to help/answer that question. Best bet would be to contact the company and ask.

Indeed. He was on waiting lists for the other days too and the same happened with the Thursday but he had already sorted tickets for that elsewhere.

I reckon it'll happen again as there might be people from the UK that only got NOS tickets for Radiohead but later got lucky for the Roundhouse gig and no longer see the need to go all the way to Portugal.

Ok I'm clutching at straws but if I can't do that here....what are the chances of more dates//stadium dates in the U.K. next year? I mean - what sort of management thinks it's a good move to play for 9000 punters when last time they toured, they sold out venues hosting 3 times that many !

It's a strong possibility, for most acts I'd say it was a certainty. Arcade Fire for example did a few small dates around the release of Reflektor then a larger tour the following year.

The only issue is that Radiohead tend to do whatever they feel like without logic.

i think that's almost definitely the plan - small intimate shows this year to test out the new material. bigger and more arena shows next year when everybody's familiar with the material. that's what i'm assuming is happening anyway, cause its hard to believe those three London shows are all the UK are gonna get

there's been no indication at all, but i certainly hope so - would like to have heard it before seeing a set chock full of the material from it played

Nothing else good on the Sunday mind you, but that might mean you could just hang on the main stage barrier all day.

After hours of refreshing everywhere, I finally got ticket for Friday night level 1 standing at around 4 PM lol. However, I think I'm going to give it to my girlfriend because she never watched them before whereas I've watched them previously before. Would mean the world if anyone have 1 spare ticket for the Friday gig, and arewilling to sell it to me. It's a long shot I know, but I will queue for you from like 8/9 AM in the morning which pretty much assures you the first few rows (you can just come at 5-6 PM)

Thanks everyone, persistence pays off I guess hahaha, I know for almost every gig, hours after they say its sold out there's always cancelled tickets and such that got release back to the public. I got it from Seetickets website actually, so yeah it is an official outlet for the Roundhouse I suppose. Don't think they are releasing anymore for tonight at least, probably all of the staff are done for the day.

Also on another topic, remember seeing Neil mentioning hear how the term "headline shows" was particularly an interesting choice o term, 

Radiohead just tweeted: "Demands for tickets has far exceeded supply and all Radiohead's headline shows are now sold out"

When there is still tickets for Secret Soltice Festival, Open Air, NOS Alive, Lollapalooza Berlin, Osheaga, all of which festivals that they are headlining.

So, I don't think that phrase is telling us anything about Radiohead @ Glastonbury really..

That's a bummer. I think the general opinion was that 'headline shows'/ meant just their own gigs rather than including festivals, implying that they would be playing somewhere not at the top of the bill. Now, as you say it means nothing.

I suppose they've not ruled themselves out, so that's something.

They'll definitely do arenas next year. Thing is with a good arena show (one with good sound particularly), if you queue up early enough and get to the first 4-5 rows the amount of people behind you becomes pretty irrelevant. Sure it's cool to say you went to the small venue gig, and the concept of being in a more intimate setting does feel a lot better. But many of the best times I've seen Radiohead has been in arenas. Sydney both nights 2012 at the Entertainment Centre was fantastic, as was Manchester Arena in 2003.
