Haven't looked back but I,m sure there's some kind of obsession going on with Carlos & Wonderwoman

I just picked a theme and stuck with it. It's got nothing to do with a detached voyeuristic view of an unobtainable, strong, attractive woman clad in tight minimal clothing......

Hello and welcome Rincewind78. :)

Good news then, excitement building with every day that passes :)

Cheers guys!

Excited and I'm even that sad, that I'm Looking forward to even sitting down with the Mrs (it will be her first Glastonbury!) and planning on what bits and bobs we need to buy for the run up till June!!

I have 5 paper cups ready (which I found in the kitchen) :)

Depending on whether you're camping or caravanning/vanning, there are 2 threads with suggestions, but I can't find them at the mo.  If you have space, I'd suggest plastic tankards or sturdy plastic 'glasses', like Asda etc do for BBQs as these are handy for carrying multiple drinks at once and are more sturdy than paper.  For H&S, they'll pour drinks into those from paper rather than fill directly, but it's easier to carry then.

    • I have no issue with the Primavera crowd in most respects. They’re always friendly, respectful and no hint that there could be trouble at any point.   However…the talking is horrific here. The xx was pretty much ruined for me due to people having conversations with their mates the whole way through. Noticed it from all different nationalities across the weekend…English, Irish, Spanish etc. There seems to be no understanding of the nuances of when it’s okay to talk and when it isn’t. And obviously the sound being quiet at a lot of spots on the main stages exacerbates the issue. That alone has made me reconsider whether I will be coming back, it would probably take a lineup as good as this year (unlikely)

    • I found the vibe a little different to recent editions.. definitely an older crowd, less queer, less Spanish.. certainly has something to do with the lack of Glastonbury this year. And I felt Saturday was a little overcrowded. I‘ve never seen Mordor as full as last night for the xx and Gorillaz. Did not enjoy that too much.
    • Not my favourite year either, despite liking the lineup more than previous years. Not sure what it was, I guess Thursday really put the brakes on things. But yeah I'll be back next year hopefully. And maybe Massive Attack will return...
    • E-mail summarizing Saturday - Primavera Sound 2026 Journal Day 3. As in previous days, it's going to be on the website soon, I think.
