Hi superlovelies

Thanks for yesterday's pics, dee - made me yearn even more for a return to the Farm. Everyone else on here seems pretty chipper, which is good to see. Fab pic of Revenge-by-Post-It^®, Humvee. The perpetrator is too classy for criminal damage. Moral High Ground 1 - Transgressor 0!

Today's session:  Track - 5 x 1000m, each at 3m35s, 400m rest interval

Impression:  Hard, but the rest interval is quite 'generous'. I lost my concentration on the last 1000m (distracted by a Radio 4 book of the day in Women's Hour, would you believe...I was getting fed up of 5Live, so changed station!) which was, therefore, about 5 seconds slower than the other 4! Slightly annoying to someone with borderline OCD!

Oh, and if anyone likes briliant movies, go see The Big Short. It is fabbo! Christian Bale and Steve Carrell (who gets better and better...Foxcatcher, anyone?) were amazeballs.

Speaking of which, I grew up in Cheam, in Surrey. One day a guy stopped me and asked for directions to Railway Cuttings. He'd travelled down from Lancashire, and I had to tell him there was no such place. His face just crumpled!

Tonight's slow baked pork loin with caramelised apple, fondant potatoes and red cabbage braised in mulled wine and balsamic vinegar is accompanied by Rilo Kiley.

Holy shit i have slobbered my slobbery chops all over my phone, Mr Gumball that sounds absolutely amazing and i have just demolished a mountain of bangers and mash for my nom noms. I.m ready for me pudding now though what are we having ya frickin legend ya.

Pudding? Errr..... To be honest, once we're sat down for dinner, neither of us wants to get up to sort out a pud, so we'll probably have a few Jaffa cakes with coffee, if anything!
