Hello All,

just to give you a pre warning there has been heavy rain during the build of the event, so the ground is very soft and muddy, just wanted to give you a warning so you can plan accurately.

We're in the accessible field, it was sent from the field Coordinator, probably so anyone with difficulties getting around can prepare themselves a bit more

ah right! thank you ramragon. I bet it aint easy at all for anyone on crutches etc...... but - hopefully it wont get to the stage where a sledge is needed!!  i am now going to stop looking at the weather!

BBC forecast for Hackthorpe has improved too. It's all looking good. We're almost home and DRY!

Hourly forecast for tomorrow suggests clear & sunny all morning, a short shower around 3ish, then clear again until 7 (Black Rivers) but then cloudy but no rain for James. Overnight cloud will mean it doesn't feel too chilly also.

Currently got half my wardrobe on my bed, warm clothes are just not as pretty as sunny clothes!

Lots of layers i reckon.

 

Just cleaned off my walking boots, still had remnants of last years Glastonbury. Waterproof jacket out instead of kagool. Im set bring on whatever weather you want to throw at me!

 

 

Thanks for the heads up Ramragon, i have a bad ankle from breaking it at V many moons ago and still have a dodgy foot from last years Glastonbury, sensible ugly footwear it is then!

I have decided I don't much like this thread (

However it has made me decide to put a quilt in the car as well as waterproof trousers, proper raincoat, warm clothes and umbrella. Cheers guys x

It's been fine, dry and windy here in Heysham today...good festi site drying weather in my experience..assuming that is the weather has been similar up there! Pack for the worst. Hope for the best!

Ground is very boggy - staff vehicles on site be towed onto fields for set up etc....been dry quite a bit of the day but there has been showers.
